I was glad as well! It's a little...irking. I mean, even if you are the same age as me, don't just walk up to a random person on the street and start talking to them! Generally, it will creep them out!

It wasn't like I was alone on the street; it was right out of the parking garage where everyone was parking and then walking to the theater, which was right next to it. I guess that could comfort me...a little.

I forgot about it when I found out I could bring drinks into the theater and didn't think of it until I got back home. The show was on my mind. I actually want to listen to Rent, but don't, because I don't want to forget their voices. Though, they aren't that hard to remember.

....I'm such a wierdo. Haha

Completely random, but I'd rather ask here than start a new thread and get probably bitched out for it: Is there a site where one can view touring casts? I know that each tour often has its own website, but is there a database of sorts? I've seen quite a few shows in Minneapolis over the years and I'd love to see the cast lists.

And Rogue, I'm happy to hear that you got out of there safely. Some guys are just creepy.

Wow, I can't believe what a beating the Goodbye Love fight is taking on LJ. Granted, it's LiveJournal and I'm probably way too biased at this point, but I thought it was amazing. Oh well.

A couple of them said it seemed like Adam didn't want to be in the movie, which just tells me he was very convincing at depicting Roger's general unhappiness with his life.

Or they just have to CONSTANTLY project and say that he's always unhappy and unappreciative because they're probably the fans who think Adam hates Rent and hates his fans and isn't grateful for how lucky he's gotten and...... all that.

Yeah, Chloe, to be honest, I don't know that all people who didn't care for Adam in the movie didn't like him because he was so effective at portraying Roger. As I've said so many times, I thought he did a great job, but some people probably genuinely didn't like him in the movie... which is fine. It's the people who harp on it for months (e.g. people still making secrets about it) that need to stop.

Again, the secrets were pretty boring this week. I'm not sure if that's a good or bad thing.

9 is creepy. "I'll love you forever?" Oh boy. "Your Eyes is exactly how I feel about you?" For someone who probably doesn't know him? Oy.

10. The first song I listened to after seeing the show was this video I had of Manley and Joey singing WYO at B'way on B'way. I really thought Mark was the higher part!

I'm tired of the people who say that Rosario doesn't look nineteen either. She looks way friggin' younger than Daphne. That's so not good back-up.

The one about Idina "ruining" OTM? She did it first; how did she "ruin" it?

Regarding Idina: I had the impression that the person didn't care for the way she sang Over the Moon, especially apparently the slurping part, in the movie. "Ruining" it probably wasn't the best word.

Heh, I sound like I made it. I didn't. Over the Moon inherently sucks.

I like how #9 contains the phrase "I am not some crazy fangirl" juxtapositioned against "I'll love you forever."

I'm sick of the faux secrets like #36... and regarding #38... enough with the Cary rumors. If he did everything people say he did, he'd be a heroin and cocaine addict with anger management problems, crazy stalkers, and a penchant for sleeping around (okay, the last two are extremely realistic).

Why do I even care about these?

I love how it sounds IN the movie, but I hate the way it sounds on the soundtrack. But I don't think she can be held responsible for "ruining" something she created. It's not like she took someone else's work and warped it.

So. Lame.

The person should have just said that he/she preferred Over the Moon on the OBCR. But, you know, this is rentsecrets and it's a requirement to use as many tragic-sounding words as possible.

I was just talking to my mom about watching Rent last night. I asked her if she liked it and she said "Yeah I liked it it was just that the ending was kind of strange. It's a different movie than what I usually watch. I'm surprised it was rated PG-13 though. And that Adam Pascal you always talk about is pretty cute."
