Elphie - a baby or a kitten? haha.
It's been quite an interesting experience. There were four of kittens - we caught two of them (by grabbing them with gloves - it wasn't pretty, and they were terrified), and took them to a no-kill cat rescue, so there are two kittens left. The mama cat sort of adopted US. The people at the cat rescue said she would have a hard time getting adopted because 1)she's not a kitten and 2)she's an all black cat, and if she stayed at the rescue she'd have to live in a cage. We're going to get her fixed after the holidays and let her stay here and be free.
Here's a picture of the kitten that I want to keep.

Yes, please do!
Fantabulous -I think she is, indeed, a she. I'm pretty sure the other kitten is a male. You can sort of tell by the their behavior, and way their faces are shaped. The other kitten definately looks a male cat, and he doesn't seem to need/want the attention of it's mother like the female kitten does.

I have the best of both worlds ... I have a cat, so I don't have to schedule my life around him and he uses a litter box which is housed in a bathroom I don't use (hooray for living alone) BUT ... he brings me things to play fetch with and he has a personality and will play like a dog.

Dogs who think they're cats? I've met dogs who live in households with cats, and choose to eat the cat food over the dog food. I've also met dogs who perch up on top of couches and windowsills, like cats do.
yesssss. The poster is still only $14.50!
