Sure it does, and answers my question. I think I've seen one picture with them holding up their different colored nail polish.
I'm good, Nia, enjoying getting to waste time while I'm off work. I'll probably be going back in two or three weeks though. I'm sorry you're a little down.

If you don't mind my asking, what do you do, Chloe?
What do you mean 'blew the diva thing'? She didn't make him sound nasty.
Emcee, it does make sense in a nice, nonsensical way.
That's one of my absolute favourite pictures, Chloe. There are a few more of them on that new site, Adam-Pascal.com.
I think about the diva thing, Chloe meant that Susan didn't make him sound diva-esque at all. We all know it's said in jest, I think.
And "nonsensical" is the story of my existence, dear.
Right, that's what I meant. Though every once in a while I come across someone online (never one of his colleagues) who seems to absolutely hate him for no discernible reason, so it was nice to come across what Susan had to say.
I work in film post-production sound, which I enjoy very much, but it's sporadic free-lance work, rather than a steady job.

*slaps forehead* I knew that, Chloe. Sorry, my memory sucks. Do people who've worked with him seem to like him? I know they wouldn't bash him to your face, they usually know better, but you can kind of tell what they think of someone.
People hating Adam without ever giving a reason? Who might you be referring *coughBG2cough* to?
Those types pop up a lot, and there are more than a few on this board. They just... hate for no reason. I've given up even trying to run to his defense. I did it more for my personal sanity, but still. There's no changing minds.
Hey guys...
I'm around -- just trying to get a lot done on various fronts... QM and I are somewhat in touch, and I know she's really busy, as well. It's good to see you back, though, Nia . Was the break helpful?
There you are!

amasis! Hello. Do tell QM that bww misses her snarky prescence, will you? And my break was useful, if not terribly productive. It was and is nice to do something besides sit at my computer.
That's okay, Nia! No need to start slapping yourself around.
Well, I didn't mean people I've actually met. I have worked on one of his projects, but just wasn't paying that much attention at the time. I do recall a musician saying Adam could sing anything, but that's about it. I was referring to things I've come across online, like at CB and the Aida board.
I think part of it is backlash - when a performer attracts people who really love him, those who just don't see it start wanting to put him down. And with Adam you have the additional factor which Emcee was talking about a little while ago, the fact that he doesn't put up with snarkiness. I'll bet some Renthead non-fans of his have approached him thinking that their attitude didn't show, but a sensitive person like him would know what they felt and react accordingly. Then they think he's being arrogant.
As far as that certain BWW poster, with him it seems to be professional jealousy by proxy.
Exactly, Chloe. On both accounts, the RENTheads and the un-named poster. He HATES that Adam just got all of these big leading roles without having to work his way through the ranks first.

That's how I'm going to make it on Broadway. Just like Adam!
Nia -- QM lives to snark . I'm sure she'll make time to visit and get that out of her system once in a while.
"He HATES that Adam just got all of these big leading roles without having to work his way through the ranks first"
That's mere perception, in any case. I remember reading an interview with Raul Esparza, where he was asked which role he thought launched him to the spotlight. Instead of naming a specific role, Raul listed a bunch of auditions he did which he didn't succeed in. His point was that it took a huge effort, of constantly being out there, auditioning, meeting people, being willing to try a lot of stuff, that made him successful -- that it wasn't just one role, per se. Adam's route might have been slightly different, but I presume he worked just as hard to get to where he is now.
Right; working his way up the "standard" ranks. He was never perpetually trapped in a Broadway chorus or something. That's not to say he hasn't worked, of course.

To the head of the line"
Everyone who does it gets to the top somehow, and it's your right to do it. Adam got a lucky break, but he kept working to keep his place.
*stakes out bww for QM* I need some quality sarcasm.

Can I still do it, even though I'm Canadian?
Hey, I'm only kidding. I can't even imagine how hard someone--anyone--would have to work to get where Broadway stars are,
And Adam had a lot of unsuccessful auditions too.
::realizes a total lack in the area of sarcasm::

"And Adam had a lot of unsuccessful auditions too."
Exactly, Chloe. For starters, and by his own account, he did years and years of singing to no-audience crowds. :: imagines dedications such as, "And we would like to dedicate this song to... the table with the crooked lamp." :: And even after RENT, it's not like he didn't have any struggles and/or disappointments
Speaking of hard work, though... I guess I'd better get back to being productive. Good night, guys!

The crooked lamp bit made me laugh more than I think it was intended to. That makes me sad.

Well, the empty shot glass is disapointed... it wanted a song.
'night, amasis. Or goodmorning, whichever.
"Well, the empty shot glass is disapointed... it wanted a song."
That's what I love about you, Nia.
Or he could sing to the giant empty martini glass....
Okay, I suck at the wit.
Me too, that's why I stuck with quoting Nia.
