did I say sky? whoops. oh dear.
amanda, guess what's next?
oh, and everyone, listen after me. Musical time!
I LOVE West Side Story! They need to do a remake of the movie. This show is so important in the history of American theater, and has such a powerful social message....I mean, it's not like we still don't have ethnic/racial conflict in the US, and particularly in urban areas.
When I was teaching at the U of MD, I used to show a clip from this movie as a lesson on non-verbal communication. The scene was a great example, but my students always snickered because the film looked so dated.
...am I the only person who absolutely can not stand West Side Story?
don't worry, i don't like it iether. (sorry amanda, but you already knew that)
the only song I like is Gee Officer Krupke. so funny! but, no, don't like it.
Dre, are you having some problems today? lol
Mimi is doing great! Someone had fed her, as the stuff I put out was moved. I put some more hay in her bucket, and gave her a few treats. She was happy to see me.
I don't think I'm going to give her much more food, or else she'll be getting fed more than she needs to.
I hope whoever went over there wasn't mad or anything. I'm glad I haven't been caught over there, it could've been bad...
Stupid friend hasn't called yet. Time to picture hunting.
me? with what? talking, typing? what?
Talking.
But you're still very good at it... I like. :)
*loves l5y*
ok, this is funny. i was going down the off topic board, reading yet not really reading what was there and all of a sudden I see
"Free Ferrero Rochers in Sherie's Bum"
then i realize that I was looking at two thread titles together: "Free Ferrero Rochers in the Sherie thread" and "Idina's Bum."
istn't that just typical of me?
Haha...
I don't think Sherie would approve of that.

huuuuuuuhhhh...panic attack is over
The show was hilarious...especially with the new songs you added...I will send you one more it's from the Tick, tick...boom! musical the Title is 30-90 and it's sung by Raúl Esparza.
Love that song. Almost as much as I love Boho Days.
Dre--if your "wish I saw that" was in reference to Rachel York in Kiss Me Kate, you can get the video. PBS recorded the London production, with Rachel York, Brent Barrett, Nancy Anderson and Michael Berresse. It's available on Amazon.
I saw the show in London with Brent and Marin Mazzie......one of the best nights of theater I have every experienced. Also, stage dooring was great because London theatergoers don't really do it. So there was no one there and I actually got to talk to Marin!
That poor baby in your av...
Why poor?
The blood is probably rushing to its head. I hate that feeling.

I am terribly sorry Jamie...I know how you feel my grandfathers died long time ago.
After a while you get used to it. After 13 years of circus I'm no longer bothered by it.
