"he didnt even say goodbye or hug nick."
how do you know? The footage is edited to creat the show that they want it to be.

Maybe she was too busy playing celebrity poker and that's why she's not on next weeks episode of Project Runway.

Or - what makes you think he actually HAD to say goodbye to Nick. Maybe they are boyfriends and....well, just a thought.

wendy rocks a green felt table. who knew. she did the show, her husband left her and now she has a new career as a poker baron. she is much "cooler" on the poker show, i mean much less emotional. perhaps she has less invested in the image of herself as a great poker player than she did as a designer.

I think Nick and Daniel would be boyfriends over Nick and Santino. Ew. And his makeover didn't do him any justice. I hated his facial hair.

I agree about the editing. Santino is likely to be less of a jackass in reality, Chloe is probably less sweet, Kara is less flakey, and so on. It's all about the editing.
Not that thinking that makes me any more of a Santino fan...

on the runway at least, everyone else gets a hug from the next to last place loser - santino walked by nick, nick stuck his hand out to shake or hug and santino kept on walking.

Did Wendy's husband really leave her after the show? For some reason I only remember her mentioning her daughter during the show last year.

Somewhere out there in the blogoshpere (Towleroad? Queerty?) I read an interview with Nick (at the Abbey, I believe) who said that he and Andrae and Daniel still hang out, but it would be a LONG time before he would spend time with Santino...
Kara has really surprised me; I discounted her immediately, and I don't think I paid enough attention to her designs week by week. Her garden party dress really impressed me, as did her makeover ensemble. Looking back on her designs at BravoTV.com, I see that she has done some very good work. It would be really thrilling if she just knocked it out of the park (sorry for the sports-related image--so butch!) next week, and the final 3 were Daniel, Chloe and Kara. Sadly, I don't think there is room for a dark horse in the tightly-planned world of "reality" TV. If she had any chance of being in the final 3, I think she would have won either last night, or last week. Especially last week.
And Garland Grrl--I, too, am so impressed with Heidi's growth (ahem...) as a host this year. I was surprised that a true supermodel had such little presence last year. She has really come a long way. Of course, a year of getting it on with Seal would make anyone glow, I suppose.

Wow...surprisingly, I like the collections in this order...
Chloe
Santino (whoda thunk?)
Daniel
Kara

on looking at the photos, my favorite single piece is in kara's collection and i love daniel's white pea coat, but not much else of his. sanino's dresses look lovely but i don't see any trousers or outerwear --i need to look again.
you really have to see the clothes walking to tell. photos are like a program for a b'way show -- a memento but not the experience itself.

Indeed - I kind of flipped through them quick. As a collection those were my first impressions, but I would like to see them actually "moving" to really tell.
I was pleaseantly surprised with the lovely dresses in Santino's collection. Daniel's white pea coat is delightful as well.

definitely have to see the clothes in action, but Kara's is striking to me. not so sure about the tier long skirt and the crocheted hats are reminiscent of Jay last season, but the colors are wonderful. the purple and turquoise gown and the teal and copper one really excite me.
total side note: Image 56815815 from Santino's collection (2nd image, 2nd page) should have been how he could have done the "make-over" on Kara.

You have to remember, they were given a lot more time to work on their collections as opposed to the time given on the weekly projects.

Ooh, I would hate to see Dan get eliminated next week, especially since he had the most wins throughout the season.

My favorite single item is actually from Santino.
It's the beige and turqoise dress with the little pleats - Image #56816139 1st image in bottom row of page one.
Now that I've had another look at all of them, I'm actually liking Santino's collection the best...based on seeing photos alone.

i'm very disappointed in Dan's collection... he's so so talented, yet, his collection seems sooooo casual and not themed enough if you know what i mean... there doesn't seem to be a point of view in his

Agree about Dan's. I expected so much more from that little cutie.
But the white peacoat in his collection is simply wonderful!

i'm afraid that Santino will be out next week... but i feel like his collection was the best followed by Chloe then Kara (whose collection looks VERY jai mccarroll) then Dan

from the photos at getty, my fave dress of kara's is in two views: 56816080 & 56816110.
those who were there said that dan's clothes were ill fitting in some cases and one dress looked wrinkled. disappointing.

yeah i saw on one of his dresses that it was completely frayed (in a misconstructed not deconstructed way) although I love Dan, i really think that his work reflects that he is out this week, but who knows.... i actually really dislike A LOT of Chloe's after looking at it more closely.... one mauve jacket is just awful.... and i really think that Santino's collection was clearly the best

Santino's collection has some beautiful color and texture combinations, and some of the silhouettes are lovely. He seems absolutely unable to deal with women's breasts, however.
Scrolling down the page of thumbnails, Chloe's collection looks very sophisticated, very coherent and with a nice variety. Once you study the individual images, however, there are a lot of unsatisfactory pieces, and too much shiny satin (silk?).
I'm actually drawn to a lot of Kara's pieces.
