he doesn't seem like the kind of guy who would ignore something like that. i was thinking of sending him a letter just to be like you are the most fabulous performer of all TIME. but that might seem a little overzealous and stalkerish? i'll just stick to stalking the stage door for now. (i'm going on saturday...who's with me?)

All you people...man, I told myself no more Chitty until November. I should have known not to say that. Will-power, schmill-power. Oh, well. I'll probably go again this weekend if anybody wants company. I always feel silly sitting by myself and then clapping like an idiot. Well, I clap for Raul so I'm a smart idiot.
If a group trip happens with a standing ovation entrance and bamboo sticks, I'd love to help the cause! I now have a ttB poster for him to sign, which would be wonderful. I finally found it at the Flea Market for $2! There was a large stack of them.
No, he didn't say anything about the Taboo insert when I gave it to him to sign. I asked him the question before he really had a chance to though. Something like, "would you mind signing this, and when I saw Chitty..."

Maybe that's it. Maybe you're supposed to send him something? But then again, if he didn't have headshots to send out, Chitty playbills aren't exactly few and far between. I just get the impression that he's not one to ignore that sort of thing -- it's what, five minutes out of your day? He's nicer than to blow it off. He'll get back to you!
Are you sure you included enough postage and all?
I wrote him a super-sappy feel better/I love you, you're the best note. It got me a note about chest hair. Go figure!
Alix, I gave him my RHS CD and was like "oh, could you... sign this?" Then I was too busy shaking to get the cap off of the marker for him -- because I always figure they can't get the caps off themselves? Anyway, he looked to see what it was, and was like "oh, me! And... my face!" Yes, Raul. Yes.

I couldn't make this up if I tried!
"oh! HAIR!
.... minutes go by.
"Everybody took their clothes off!"
Begs the question, if I *did* bring something from The Normal Heart, would he be serious, or would he go "oh, I took MY clothes off!" or something?
hehe. It's like, "Yes, yes that is you."
I wouldn't know what to say. Probably something like "I love listening to it" would come out.
It'd be interesting to see his reaction to TNH. Especially after specifically doing Chitty I don't know if he'd appreciate it or not.
My roommate often forgets things -- she just was over by my shelf and was like 'who's that?' I looked and it was the ShowPeople picture. Then she gave a dissertation on the weirdness of "ugh! chest hair!"
I still don't know where I stand on the play -- if I brought it WITH the pole, maybe it would be a balance!
You can give him the play and be like, "Don't get too sad because I have a happy bamboo stick too!" That might decrease the chances of him dancing though.
