Aww, Sweeney. Ash, how am I going to survive Company closing without you getting drunk and mourning with me on AIM?
I really, really, really hope the PBS taping works out. This show really deserves to be (officially) immortalized. As with Tink and I and Cabaret, it introduces a whole different audience to a show that wouldn't have the opportunity to see it otherwise. And who knows, like Sweeney, it might one day break even and make a profit. Then Raul will be a "box office draw".

I hope so too. Add me to the Cabaret list, hehe. Even though my videos are def not from PBS...
So I guess if they do tape it, it wont be a taping of a live performance, right?
I got so wasted sat night in an attempt to, among other things, forget about the show for awhile. It lasted about 12 hours, and now I'm back to square one, lol
Well, when Sunday was taped for TV, they filmed it after the show closed and it aired months later. It might be too last minute to rush a live airing, but a future airing is still realistic.
They would tape an actual performance, but I didn't get the impression it would air live.
Also, I think some drinking after closing is in order.

Sunday with Raul was taped and aired? I didn't know that
And yeah, I'm sure the cast will be drinking as well! I really hope they go out somewhere and celebrate big time, even though its a very bittersweet day.
Nope, the original Sunday.

Oh, I got excited for a minute.
Company's grosses went up this week, not much of a surprise I guess
I'm totally down for drinking after the closing show. If a gathering is coordinated, I'm so in.
If there is drinking after Company, I want to be involved in the drunk BWW chat or IM's going on, lol!
I don't know if Company will be as crazy as Sweeney. Raul is a big draw, but I think Patti, Michael and the rest of that cast had a bit more pull lol. I still think it would be really crowded and emotional either way.
Yeah, I Sweeney definitely had a much more rabid fanbase.
Wait, I'm *SO* confused. Is there discussion of taping Company, or Cabaret?
Company.
I know, I had the same confusion at first Elphie. :)
OHMYGOSH that would be amazing! *hopes*
Thanks.
I know! I've got my fingers crossed, because even though I've been playing the lotto every week to finance a trip to New York before the show closes, it ain't gonna happen.

Hey, you never know
Sorry - I said something about Cabaret earlier and prb got everyone confused, lol.
Okay, quick poll.
Should I go to the Bway By The Year concert tonight- for $46.25?
I really want to, but I'm a miser and don't like spending money.
Alright, I'm lame and don't know what that concert is, Elphie... But I'm sure it's totally fun and you should go!
I think I'm gonna do it. As my dad says, I'm only young once!
Is Raul involved in any sort of concert thing this summer that I'm forgetting about that I might want to save my money for?
Who's in it tonight?
Aww, Sweeney. Ash, how am I going to survive Company closing without you getting drunk and mourning with me on AIM?
I know! I thought of that. On the other hand, I'll be home mourning over Gypsy in July. I want to see you again, though! Maybe we'll be there at the same time in August?
I for one am definitely drinking after the Company closing, but that's more so that I'll be able to sleep on the bus ride home.
Stephanie J. Block (the main reason I want to go), Beth Leavel (love her!), Liz Calloway, I think, and someone else who I forget.
Funny Girl is one of the musicals!

Siren, which Gypsy are you referring to? Not the one at City Center, right?
Elphie, if you like the performers, I'd go for it. But I'd also like to know if Raul is involved in anything this summer so I can save *some* money too, hehe
Company went all the way up to 57%! Woo! Wicked better watch out!
She was referring to City Center's Gypsy.

oh, are you guys going to that? I'm really excited to see her, I never have before!
*edit* the picture of Fred Rose from Broadway Bares makes me chuckle
I decided to go. It was fun.
