I'm always SO tempted to pre-order stuff, but you don't get it on the release date, they ship it on the release date. So I may as well just go out and buy it. I wonder what the cover art will be!

I am most definitely getting that recording. I must... if I never make it to NYC to see the show, then the last I can do is get the recording!

And I'd just thought I'd let you guys know that now my mom likes Raul and thinks he has a good voice.

I showed her some clips of him in Cabaret and tick, tick...BOOM and she was impressed. Yay for Raul Recruitment.

I wish my mom liked him! She used to. She really got into the TTB recording and thought he was really cute (I guess she still does think he's good-looking), but I made the mistake of allowing the first time she ever saw him perform be Chitty. She was completely underwhelmed; not that he was bad, but the show didn't allow him to be good enough for all of my raving to make any sense. She was sort of like "THIS is what you've been going on about for so many years?" She thought he was good, but not revelatory in Company, and... has her choice words about him of late. Therapy is like... her favorite song ever, though.

Aww. I think it's really cool that so many people who didn't previously "get" Raul are finally getting him after seeing Company. A lot of people who used to look at his fans like they had five heads are finally like "oh, I get it now!"

I still can't tell if my mom likes Raul and Adam only because I've gone on about both of them for years. I think she was quite impressed with their respective performances in TTB! and Cabaret, but it's difficult to say.

Join the club, Kate. But Raul's a very good person to have a crush on. Very rewarding.

I preordered the CD on Christmas day, lol. I may cancel it though, because you're right about the sending it on the release date. And I work in a Borders... I wonder if I will be able to get it early, that'd be fun!

Hmmm, BWW changed my avatar all by themselves, lol. I just changed it back, but that was weird.

Maybe they are changing the layout of Raul's site? Or adding a bunch of new stuff (hopefully!).
