I'm gonna try to go, just because of the hilarity. Raúl aside, I freaking love Stokes.

Everyone in the audience for The View today got tickets for Company! Apparently Rosie hasn't seen it yet, but she did mention Raul's name... and Joy has seen it and loved it.

Did they have anyone on that was Company-related, or did it just come up because it was the audience's gift?

I'm writing a paper about Raoul Wallenberg, and it's almost embarrassing how many times some form of "Raul Esparza" showed up in the first draft. Must be all my excitment about seeing Company soon.

I thought I'd drop in and say that I finally got the newest COMPANY recording. Just for kicks, I went to a local music store by me to see if they had it. Their showtunes section is really small, so I didn't know if it was in stock or not - but lo and behold, there it was in all its glory. I told my mom that "I may not be able to see Company on Broadway, but at least I can listen to Raul Esparza's lovely voice every day." the official raul esparza thread

Oh, and I'm introducing my friend to Cabaret. I think the next step is showing him Raul Esparza singing "I Don't Care Much". :)

Yaaay CD. the official raul esparza thread

I... saw the show again this past week. And tomorrow I celebrate one whole year of love and impassioned Company-related posting. My God, I can't believe a year's gone by since I first saw it! Granted, I'll be celebrating -- oh the irony -- by seeing Raul's competition over at Curtains, heh!

Curtains vs Company round 1

I'm sure I'll like Curtains a lot. It sounds great and I've been looking forward to it for a very long time. But Company has a very special place in my heart. the official raul esparza thread

The woman I work for, who is a Tony voter, said that Company was the best thing she's seen so far this year. I'm curious to hear what people think of Curtains, though

He looks so gooood there. I definitely own a hard copy of that issue of Elle.

And no, I could never; I have terrible stage fright and I'm very, very shy... which is unfortunate because it would be so funny, especially since Raúl and I have met several times.

I have terrible stage fright too, which is why I am one of those that is doomed to be forever an audience member and not a performer. woe to me :o)
besides the fact that I can't sing!

I'm seeing Company this weekend, and needless to say, I'm so excited. It's like Aida and Cabaret all over again.

I like the new avatar, Emcee.

Hah, thanks.

Last night was hysterical. I was bummed out that Raul was out after only one word, but I haven't laughed so hard in a while.

Poor Raul. Was it dystopia that he was spelling or something like that?

Cabaret in 2003 with Adam. That was some crazy anticipation.

That's really funny.

WOW I wish I could have seen that - who was Aida?

I was like "oh, dystopia, he'll definitely get that!" and then nope! Some people thought he did it on purpose.

I was in a spelling bee in elementary school, and I (apparently) spelled the word "closet" wrong. I spelled it, and then when the woman was like, "Sorry, that's incorrect" I was shocked! I was nervous, and I guess I stumbled a bit so it sounded like I said "l" twice. C-L-L-O-S-E-T. It haunts me to this day. So if Raul just got spelling nerves, I can empathize. the official raul esparza thread clloset... pfffft.
