Interesting discussion tonight. Tough to comment as the conversation whizzes by me at the speed of sound while I'm not sitting here.

Well, all this talk makes me want to try to make it out there before it closes, but unfortunately, the killing 2 or 3 birds with one stone....er, trip, would have only worked this coming weekend, when I had a conference to attend, too. I could've seen it twice, maybe 3 times. And take a friend who lives in Cincinnati to boot.
Not sure if I can justify the expense to go out for just that at this time. And I'm not saving for college. Just trying to make sure bills get paid. Though I did get a killer tax check this year, there's other things I can get to use on a daily basis.

Though, it's not beyond me. I've spent small fortunes to travel all the way across country and to another country for a film star I'm a big fan of and to catch one of his movies and hope for a quick couple of words with him...when he shows. And he doesn't even know me on a personal basis to talk, though I have spoken with him on numerous occasions. Either the times in between are long enough he doesn't remember me, or he doesn't let on and I don't remind him. But I go to see him anyway. Especially when he's doing press in town.
