Yay!
I'm pretty much only a Mano-er also. I like the other guys, but their threads scare me a little.

Fantab enjoys spreading her love across many threads
I've been a fan of Anthony and Adams for years now, but I just found Mano. So, I'm a bit more fangirly.
Well, when you're overwhelmed by the sexiness that is Mano, pop on over to Sherie. We used to have cookies... and um... I post single words to myself sometimes... er...

I don't think I'm particularly fangirly. When I get excited/nervous, I get really quiet, as opposed to screaming and flailing. I think the former is much better than the latter.
I pop into the Anthony thread on occasion, and I love the conversation in the Adam one, but I'm more fangirly over Raul and Manoel (shh, don't tell anyone, though). I'm the same way, Fantab.... I get really quiet and can't think of anything to say.

When I get fangirly, I get a huge grin plastered to my face, lose the ability to speak, and start laughing at everything that isn't funny. It's pretty embarassing.

I haven't met any of these people... by "fangirly", I mean I listen to their music a lot. HA!
If I'm meeting someone that I really admire, I stop functioning. I can't say anything.
I think Mano intimidates me.

Well, I guess it's a weird thing. Maybe I'm not. Maybe I am. I mean - he's immensely talented and clearly incredibly intelligent. He doesn't scare me or anything. And he was...and has been, incredibly sweet. It's just a weird dynamic when it's someone who has this strong presence and personality and talent, yet they send you myspace messages and joke around with you.
Did that make any sense? It makes much more sense in my head.
If I met Sondheim I'd pass out...
Yet when Stephen Schwartz came to talk to my school I really wahn't flipping out. Take that, Wicked fangirls!

Yup. Those thoughts have definitely crossed my mind.
I know that at the moment Mano's myspace is serving as his only online resource since his site is under construction - so I guess he kind of needs to maintain it. But, that doesn't mean he has to be so in touch with fans like he is. I'd hope he's just being really nice and I really do think he is honestly appreciative.
I think that once a week he offs a fan and puts them in a pie and has a nice little treat at the end of a hard week.

A Little Fangirl
I don't think that you guys have to worry about his intent. He's so open with his fans. He doesn't need to be as accessible as he is. He's definitely genuine.
