The marquee is so completely epic, you guys. I didn't have my camera on me today, but I will try to take and post some pictures next time I'm in the area, which will probably be in a few days.
I keep meaning to grab a camera on my way to work. It looks fabulous. I peeked in and they seemed to be loading in some sort of lighting equipment today.
Maybe my phone camera can get some decent shots...
Face life with a little guts and lots of *glitter*
Yeah, I was hoping the box office would be open. It wasn't, but they were loading in what appeared to be lighting equipment. I took pictures on my phone, but they're crappy and I can't upload them to the computer.
Raúl and Elisabeth Moss will be on Playbill Radio's "Playbill Presents" nest week, talking about Speed-The-Plow.
Playbill Presents Sept. 24: Multiple Tony nominee Raúl Esparza and "Mad Men" co-star Elisabeth Moss talk to host Robert Viagas about Speed-the-Plow on Broadway.

From Matt Roush's column at TVGuide.com this morning:
"Jenni asks: "I was wondering if you had heard whether Raul Esparza will be reprising his role on Pushing Daisies this season and if there's any chance we might see a duet from two of the best of Broadway: Kristin Chenoweth and Raul Esparza? (I owe you so much thanks for calling my attention to the showing of Company on PBS — it was awesome.)"
You're welcome. I wish all of his stage performances were preserved for TV, including last season's revival of Pinter's The Homecoming. But he's already lined up a new Broadway role, opposite Jeremy Piven and Mad Men's Elisabeth Moss in a revival of Mamet's Speed the Plow. So for now I'm told he isn't on the guest list for a repeat visit to Pushing Daisies, although I hear they'd welcome him back in an instant. A musical duet would indeed be awesome. (I saw both of them perform signature songs in a New York Philharmonic concert last May, but if I go on, it will sound like I'm bragging, so I'll stop.)"
Playbill Radio is currently running an interview with the cast of Speed-The-Plow. I've excerpted Raúl's portion; you can find it here: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=5B5BU4A5
Also, Playbill Radio is showing another interview with Raúl on their schedule, to air Saturday Sept 27 at 4PM (et) and Sunday Sept 28 at 11AM (et). There's no indication if this is a new interview or a repeat, or what the subject is.
Raul has Lee Pace's scarf! The facts are THESE: Last year when I saw The Homecoming I had a picture taken with Raul. It's an amazing picture so I put it up as my wallpaper where it's been for a year. Cut to a few days ago when I'm watching Pushing Daisies on dvd. There is this one scene in the "doll" case where he walks into the pie hole wearing a grey and black striped scarf. It is in fact the exact scarf Raul is wearing in my photo of us from The Homecoming. It is no accident that Raul happened to be on that particular episode and now has a scarf exactly like it!
Oh, it's the little things that make me happy!
"What a mystery this world. One day you love them and the next day you want to kill them a thousand times over." The Masked Bandit in THE FALL
That picture really makes me want to pinch his cheeks.
Now, mother always said that whenever you hear a strange, frightening, and potentially life-threatening ghostly chant coming from the dark woods that there's one thing that you should do: Not wake the others and go investigate it alone...
Just making my presence known. Counting the days until "Speed-the-Plow" and trying not to drive my husband crazy by playing nothing but Raul clips in anticipation.
