Sheesh. Why not just wait one day until Thursday when the timing would be less pressured? But I guess that would be just too logical....
Two more from the Tony press event yesterday:

Heh. I don't know why they don't announce on Friday and then set the breakfast for Monday. That makes the most sense to me.
I would assume it has something to do with wanting to release them at the start of the theatrical week? I don't know why that would be other than that it makes sense. In some ways, anyway. And I would assume the meet-the-press thing is the day after so that they're still capturing fairly initial reactions.
Also, he looks cute.
It makes sense to do it early in the week, from a press coverage point of view, but then why don't they announce the noms on Monday, when everybody has a day off? And then do the press thing Tuesday at a respectable hour, like early afternoon. But I guess that would be too practical.
I like the first pic - he looks like he's chanting to himself "must stay awake....must stay awake....must st...zzzzzzz...."
Ha, I looked at it and was like, "Goodnight, Raul."
Totally dig the shirt being a little open, though. I thank him for that.

With those early morning pictures I am thinking he is saying, " I'm awake, right? Am I smiling? Did I forget to button my shirt? Do my socks match?"
Raúl being....playful at the Kander Ebb benefit Monday:
(wtf???)
lol.

Something tells me he doesn't like peas.
If they make Tony nominations on Monday, the nominees don't get a day off. They have to wake up at an ungodly hour and then spend all day fielding press calls. At least Tuesday is a normal work day.
Imho, getting up early this one time for something that is an honor to be included/invited to in the first place shouldn't be a big deal. They are not made from sugar!
Also, some may have rehearsals or other commitments (film or tv shoots?) to get to.

lol, that Kander and Ebb pic looks like it's taken at a Swet 16 or a prom or something. The "goofy date" picture.
Aside from the obvious absurdity in the photo, I love the way his right eyebrow is off in it's own zip code ("no eyebrow acting!").
I'd really love to know if there's a story behind that picture or if it was just totally random silliness.

He looks very shiny.

I just watched the performance of Time Warp on the Rosie O' show. Seriously, that was freakin' awesome. And he looks oh so delicious in that costume.
How/where did you see this??

It's on the unmentionable sight.
Enjoy!
OH MY GOD! *thud*
I think I just hurt something, I laughed so hard....

I know! I LOVE it.
Raul Esparza. The Master Thespian.
Ohhh, thank you!
They sometimes don't make it easy for us to find these things, huh? Although it gives me hope there might be other hidden gems that pop up.
Oh, that made me smile. Hard to believe that's him!

I usually have a difficult time finding clips there. But I recently discovered the "added today/this week/this month" button and that makes things easier. I was kinda hoping his performance of "Willkommen" from the Cabaret benefit would turn up, so I'd been keeping an eye out.
They recently reconfigured the menu. It makes navigation a whole lot easier. It was kind of redundant before.
OK, I'm with both of you - sometimes I do NOT get "that site". This clip refused to appear no matter how I spelled his name, or did or did not use quotes. It was only when I used the ú AND added Rosie's name in that it finally registered.
I know it depends solely on what sort of tags the poster puts into the listing, but honestly, it SHOULD have shown when I searched for "esparza" at least! Very frustrating.
