^ cut those two bookend hags off and I'd like the show so much more.

lol, Simon. Did you see the episode when he bought his wife all those clothes on vacation? Ten bucks says he tries them all on while she's asleep.

I kinda "am" the countess. But I was forsighted enough NOT to have kids to inflict my narcisism on. I guess if you marry into royalty becoming a brood mare is part of the deal tho.
lol: Francois and Johan
I am deciding on which reality show to watch while Francois interns at the UN. haha Betheny.
I have to admit its my guilty pleasure as well. I watched a marathon of all the shows so far, yesterday. too funny! I haven't seen the lice episode yet but I can't wait.

I laughed out loud when I read that, Simon is so creepy, ick.

and what's up with her hair? She needs to Hot Tool that early 90's cowlick in the front.
Ramona's hair is no better.
all i am saying is i love betheny and jill and nicole the countess niece. what a hipster haha.
my words can be summed up in a blog i wrote about them. it's worth checking out.

that's a 90s look. whoah, totally missed that fad. I thought maybe she was trying to cover a spot of alopecia.
theaterdude- you managed to find a very flattering picture of Ramona.
i know. i don't know how it worked out like that. im pretty sure i went with the first one i saw because she is always a hot mess.

Chev - not so much a look, but a mistake.
I hope the show is still on when the other kids at school kick Francois' ass because he insists on putting the cedilla (the little squiggle) on the bottom of the "c" in his name.
Why is Bethenny even on this show? She's not even married and is not a housewife. I do remember that she was one of the contestants on Martha Stewart's Apprentice. She must love being on TV. Ramona can't seem to get her foot out of her mouth. Jill does seem pretty real- love her gay husband friend. Alex and Simon are the most pretentious couple I have ever seen. When they were checking out Claremont and the owner told Simon that his kids looked happy- Simon said well, they were on the beach all day speaking French- what? They remind me of that over-sexed couple on SNL played by Will Farrell and Rachel Dratch. I like "the Countess" as well- she seems pretty fun! Her son "break-dancing" cracked me up. Her daughter definitely looks much older than 12!
I love Jill and the Countess. I want to hang out with them. At least they are real people. :) I enjoy the show alot.
I can't WAIT to start watching this show!

I get a strange feeling from Jill's "gay husband". I think he's gonna betray her in some ep - he acts like his opinions are based on some classy background he was raised in. hmmmmmmm. I bet if Jill lost her fortune "gay husband" would be bye bye.
I wanna be Jill's "gay husband". She needs to dump that barking queen. I bet Jill would buy us "premium seats" for Broadway shows. I bet she is friends with Patti Lupone. For some reason, I think they would click.

how does this compare to The Real Housewives of Orange County? better right? i havent gotten to watch it yet, didnt really like the orange county one but ive heard this is better..

I liked the Orange County one too. I like this one more just because its New York - you know the places, and I'm more interested in watching New Yorkers because I sort of am one myself, you know?
however, if all the silliness is something you don't like - then don't watch it. These girls are insane.
I like Lu Ann, she seems to be the classiest out of them all, but the business about her title was a bit odd. And I can't stand her son.

oh, no no no, i dont have a problem with reality show silliness at all, i dont really know why i didnt like the orange county one cause i pretty much will watch anything...
I agree though, i think i will like this one because i love new york and am familiar with the city. plus i find the whole pampered upper east side culture really fascinating.
done! im definitely gonna start watching now, thanks!
That bit about Luann needing to be called Mrs. DeLesseps by the driver was really odd. Luann had seemed the most down to earth until that point. She was really hung up on being shown "respect". That put me off a little. It really seemed like she views the people who take care of her as lower class.
Ramona is very unlikeable and abrasive. I cant believe how she acted. She is like a petulant little girl. She says whatever is on her mind, no filter. She has no class in the middle of all that discussion about what class is.
I am still in love with Jill. She is THE BOMB! She has class, because she filters what she says even though she is opinionated.
I must say, I was half-hoping that Simon would show up at the ladies dinner party wearing the dress that Alex adorned for Opening Night at the Met.
