I'm sending the pm of the lyrics to tiff - who I feel certain has been honest with me about her age, etc.
nothing personal anyone - please understand...
If these lyrics get into the hands of people under 18 sent directly by me - that could bring me a WORLD of trouble - ya know?
I have a lot too protect - including my own children and my good name.
I don't mean to be a "tease"... hopefully the piece will be published and aired (on Com Central) and when it does, I'll be sure to let you all know...

I am too.
*And* I have a paper and two tests which might or might not happen. And I just found out one of my teachers is in the hospital and they think she has a brain tumor.

hey all, being an adult isn't all it's cracked up to be all the time.. Sure you get certain liberties and freedoms, but you also get lots of resposibilities.. Dont hide or feel bad that you are young. I sometimes miss High School.. I had great times back then. Now I get to work for a living. Thankfully my job gives me the freedom to do theatre as well as travel.. So Beka, dont hide! Enjoy it!

Posted: 11/30/04 at 8:50pmAw guys, I'm under 18 too. I never say that on the board usually though. Certain people tend to be way ageist and disregard people's opinions b/c of age...lol, but that's a different story.

By Tiff..
Why does everyone feel so inadequite due to being under 18? Guys it's ok.. Truely.. You have valid thoughts, ideas, and arguements.. I tend to believe that those under 18 these days are far smarter than we (my generation) was at that age.

Same here. Most people on ff.net think I'm in my 20's...not cuz I tell them that, but because they assume when they read my stuff.
Oh yeah, Emcee...do you have pics for me to un-demonize yet?

I have one... etheb still has the rest. She was all busy with that NaNoWriMo thing, but it's done now.
And over 18, but just by a few months. In person, people think I'm younger. Online, I get the opposite. Go figure - I look about twelve.

i don't think i'll look back on high school and enjoy it. all i do is work. wake up > school > home > homework > bed @ like 3.
well i'm probably just feeling like that now cause i missed 2 weeks of school and i'm still making work up. and now i'm sick again. i'm all ready to go to school cause i don't want to get farther behind, but my parents won't let me go to school with a fever. *end rant*
EDIT - heh emcee i can still get a kids ticket at the movie theater -- i could probably pass for 10... and i HATE it. but people do tend to think i'm older online...

Well, see, all my friends here are 18+, and so I can't really go and party or club with them, so I'm left out sometimes. It's kinda sad. But next semester, I'll be all covered.

Posted: 11/30/04 at 8:56pmHaha Emcee, I know what you mean.. I'm a walking contridiction, I got mistaken for a 17 year old a few weeks back and had to pull out my drivers license to prove I was in my 20's.. It's a compliment really.. It means I'm aging well.. I attribute it to my 80+ year old grandmother who looks like shes in her 50's.

I matured at an earlier age than my peers because they were always a year older than I. But I would like to be 18 already, it sounds fun.

same here. MY OPINIONS MATTER TOO!
#1622The Rent Welcome Wagon
Posted: 11/30/04 at 8:59pmNTG, at first people may not take you seriously because of age, but eventually they'll take you seriously. I've noticed that many of the people on this board will take my opinion seriously as well as the adults I come across in real life because they begin to realize that just because I'm young, that doesn't make me stupid or ignorant. It can be frustrating but, I mean...just enjoy. There's no use in waiting to turn 18, you know? Just enjoy being young. Updated On: 11/30/04 at 08:59 PM

I know NTG.. not that it really makes much difference, I take you seriously.
HMM, I never wanted to be 21 so badly in my life as I did a month before my 21st birthday. There was a concert at a bar type venue that I really wanted to go to, but coudln't.
