Posted: 11/7/06 at 10:54pmWell once again we here in Massachusetts have sent an entire delegation of Democrats to Washington. We have elected a Democratic govonor (the first in 16 years) and Kennedy is heading back for another 6 years.

Posted: 11/7/06 at 10:55pmThe incumbent mayor that I posted about in another thread just gave his concession speech on camera. He was on a cell phone with the winner offering his "help" in "continuing his vision". The dick. I'm reasonably certain I heard him address him as "Jerry" as well. (The winner's name is Jim.)

Posted: 11/7/06 at 11:06pmThe abortion restriction amendment in South Dakota is currently failing, and the same sex marriage ban is passing by a mere 1%. I'm surprised, I thought both would pass by a substantial margin.

Posted: 11/7/06 at 11:24pmyeah, atrias, the wash post just pulled their projection of cardin. that surely can't and won't happen anywhere else in the entire country tonight. nope, i'm sure that the results as they are projected now with 8% and 10% votes in some races will hold up in every case. have a lovely celebration folks, i'll be back in the morning to see how things stand.
