Posted: 8/2/07 at 11:28amHowie has rubbed me the wrong way from the beginning. He's the typical executive chef: bad temper; no one can ever question him because he is always right; blames others hastily. Even if Sara was in the wrong, Howie is just as responsible for going along with all of her ideas (the pasta, the stock, et al). And let's not forget that even though Howie has won twice, he's also been called into the bottom four times.

Oh I thought the Howie sweating thing was just my imagination!!
I have absolutely no respect for Rocco since his television debacle a few years ago. He always comes off like, "I know I'm good looking".

Yeah...what was the deal with that?? Didn't he like totally run that restaurant into the ground? Or am I making that up.

You are not, making it up, because I was glued to that stupid show too.
He is a Garden Tool...a hoe, if you will.
and I dont think he's that good looking...I bet he smells.

Ok see I missed Howie sweating in the food, which is the most disgusting thing ever. Completely changes how I'll look at him. I mean, would you like a little Braised Pork Shoulder with Yuca Sour Orange Mojo... with a side of sweat. (I just threw up a little in my mouth at the thought of that.)
Robbie, you are right. Rocco did indeed run that restaurant in the ground and if, my forgettery serves correct, had to be bailed out before it completely went under. He always had that arrogance, which was sooo unattractive. How I detest him!

Doodle, LOL!!!
Rocco and Tom are both on my list (and that's not a good thing).
#33re: Top Chef 2007
Posted: 8/2/07 at 11:39amAnd the hilights. Sweet Baby Jesus, WHY the hilights, Rocco??? Despirito, indeed!

AND the second season of his show bombed. (but I watched it, which makes me an even bigger tool, I suppose.)

My friend worked for Rocco and he was a horror show! A real prick.
She said his mother was really nice.

Blueroses, do tell. A friend of mine worked for Tom Colicchio (sp?) at Mondrian in the late 80s and had some stories, too.
What happened to Rocco's purported stint in the Broadway company of Chicago that was rumored a year or so ago?

I forgot about mama and her meatballs. That ahole made his mother work...she had to make 1000 meatballs a day!
Working in many restaurants in my day, every exectutive chef had some d*ckiness in them...it must be a rule to treat the servers as idiotic slobs.

And rip lines of coke on the job. Don't forget THAT cute little trait of exec chefs.
And they NEVER SHARED!

I know!
But, who got asked out more? Not that sweaty mess in the kitchen...it was us cute waiters in tight pants.
So there, Rocco!
(did that sound desperate?)

Posted: 8/2/07 at 12:05pmOh, an old friend of mine is an actress who has waitressed and worked as a caterer on and off for over 15 years! She worked with him briefly and just said he could be verbally abusive, had a major God complex, was a womanizer, etc. Just what you'd expect I guess!

Just a titch, doodle...but it's all good.
I'd take desperate anonymity to public humiliation on tv any day.
Wait...who the f*ck am I kidding...no I wouldn't!

'robbie, I thought you were going to have a reality show making over people's closets! Out of the Closet with Robbie?'
Ah...that was just a secret little wish...but recent changes in my life may bring that particular dream to reality sooner rather than later. Details are vague...more to come.
And doodle...abso-f*cking-lutely!
