I like Elia the best, although Marcel doesn't seem to bug me like he does the rest of the contestants. Then again, I don't have to live with him. I have yet to see him put a dish together that isn't plated nicely and doesn't look appetizing (with the exception of the under-cooked chicken wing). I would have added a milkshake to go along with that burger.

Dottie, he does too much foam for my tastes. I don't see the appeal.
Blueroses, it's all about the foam!!! No, I see where you're coming from. To me, he thinks about his finished product and it's presentation. Yes, his breakfast quickfire challenge was a disaster when he spilled the coffee all over it though.

"To me, he thinks about his finished product and it's presentation."
I agree with you there. Ilan and Elia are usually very good in this regard, too. Michael was so sloppy! This week, his quickfire looked like quesadillas you'd get at a TGIFs!
Blueroses, that's because he used to work there...no joke!!
Double post.

Marcel does beautiful presentations. And his lamb kabob with curry mayo last night sounded yummy.
I think Betty and Michael were the sloppiest in terms of presentation. Michale's looked fast foodish. Betty's was just bizarre.

Betty WAS bizarre! But she would have rocked last night's challenge re: being in the front of the house. The judges often praised her food, but what they liked more was her customer service. She was very warm, inviting and enthusiastic with patrons and they admired that. Too bad she was nuts!
Harold remains my all-time favorite chef-testant.
Did y'all just time warp to last week?!
I'm ascaired!

doodle, I surprise myself by still tuning in. I don't like this season all that much!
I barely kept my eyes open last night...I dont care if any of them go home.
I still think that ANTM does this format best. That's why I think the design version will be interesting...at least we can have an opinion instead of relying on those aholes.
How nasty was the mohawk guy last nite?!
Doodle, ANTM?
Mohawk was not only nasty, but bitter as well. What about the beyotch who said, "there's an olive pit on the table". I can't stand her. I get her mixed up with the other c*nty woman on the show.
I'm still salivating over the roast chicken from last weeks episode.
America's Next Top Model, Dottie...dont make me have to tell you again!
The new host has an edge that I dont care for, but she is so much better than Mrs. Billy Joel, I dont care...I just dont want her opinion.
I am not minding the "Food and Wine" judge...I hated her last year, but she seems to have a better sense of humor this year.
Collichio can suck my **lls.
Doodle, thanks. I kind of figured that's what it was, but I couldn't place the "N" as I thought it was just "America's Top Model"!!
By the way, I kept flipping from Top Chef, to the skanky Janice Dickenson modeling agency show last night. It looks like her business partner has had some work done to his face. Doesn't make him look any better.

Doodle, isn't ANTM over? Cari Dee won! Actually I think it went downhill after the first two or three seasons. Loved Elise (should've beat Adrienne), Toccara, Eva and Yoanna. And it was SO much better with Janice. Miss Jay and Twiggy suck!
I tivo'd that last nite...along with Beauty and the Geek and that Celebs as Cops show...how scary am I?
I have a feeling Janice's partner has been around the operating table before...he likely get's "freshened up" every year.
We'll see how the Real Life Housewives look this season...

lol. Oh no! You succumbed to the celeb cop show? I think my sister did, too.
I wonder if Shandi is back at Walgreen's.
Miss Jay is a joke, but Janice was just too nasty and stuck on herself. I still don't get her modeling career. I just don't.
One of the contestants from Survivor was on last night wearing barely nothing. Very hot!!

Dottie, when Janice was younger she was really gorgeous.
I'm just comparing them all, roses...I like the format of ANTM, especially since they figured it out as they went along. The set on the first season was a riot!
Two fairly creative challenges, that we as an audience can appreciate, and the rules dont change. AND...girls are bitchy and fun to watch live together.
Survivor's challenges are getting tired...tho they still have the human drama part.
I love Amazing Race, but it's getting a bit contrived too...RACE! bunch up, everyone makes it...RACE! bunch up...everyone makes it.....first to catch a cab to the finish line...the WINNER!
I dont mind Twiggy...not as fun as Janice, but Janice interrupted the flow and made no sense alot of the time. Miss Jay is an expert on nothing.
How people like Miss Jay get to where they are always puzzles me? I guess I'm just a puzzled person!
"Dottie, when Janice was younger she was really gorgeous."
AND looked nothing like she does now. AND was NEVER a supermodel...just a successful model.
Dottie...questions like that make me crazy...because he is a giantess?!

Go to Bravo's website and read Harold's blog. He really dissed the Mohawk.
I'm waiting for the now!!
LaurenB, thanks. I was such a fan of Tim's blog for Project Runway, that I can't believe I haven't checked it out for this show.
