JerseyGirl, I would LOVE to read the script. Message me?
And Scotty, Those are some really interesting things you pointed out with the whole 'teenage eating' thing.
I do think that Stephanie was going to the right idea with Edward. Young men are definitely losing the idea of Chivalry. Young men these days are seriously lacking in that department, and while i enjoy being independent, I want someone to be protective of me like that, and act like a proper gentleman. He respects her, but at times is just... too overprotective.
Unfortunately, people see these extremes and can't identify what's a good median between the two. Now teenage girls everywhere want a boyfriend who will protect them from everything, which we all know isn't possible.

Yes, Edward may be seen as overprotective...but Bella realizes that, and doesn't let him get away with it. She's constantly "breaking the rules", especially with visiting Jacob or going after James alone. She's by no means simply the damsel in distress. If she was completely controlled by Edward they'd have been married by the end of book 2.
I think the many references to eating are just to illustrate and drive home the fact that vampires don't eat and that's one more thing Bella will be giving up if (or when) she becomes a vampire. I don't think they mean that Bella has an eating disorder.
And yes, the idea of impriinting on a toddler is a little creepy, but I think it's just illustrating that once someone is your "soulmate" there's nothing you can do about it. Even if it means waiting 15 years....

I'm actually quite impressed with the script. I mean, the exposition seems a little bit rushed... but other than that, it's pretty damn good. Bella it seems has a little bit more spunk/fire/humor in her, depending on what you call it.
I wish they would have kept the 'heroine' line more between the two, rather than just throwing it in there.
Other than that, I'm quite happy. We'll just have to see how the movie goes!

Interesting how things were combined and shortened to make it movie length.
The only part that bothered me was Jacob not really telling Bella the whole legend. From the way he tells it in the book, it really sets up the conflict that is to come. And hints at the fact that he already knows about the Cullens. I felt that the seriousness with which he told Bella the story is what made her finally "put it all together" and it seems to be handled differently here.
Also love how they set you right up for the sequel........

You have to join the community first to be able to read it, but Omg it's priceless... You will either laugh your ass off or fall into a corner and cry bitter tears. Or you might do both, in that order. :p

BWAHAHA! I just looked at the cartoon. I am afraid of spoilers. I don't wanna be spoiled. Those can't POSSIBLY be spoilers. Can they?! GAH!
Okay, technically, without a heartbeat, they would have no bloodflow. Without bloodflow, no erection. Do they make Vampagra?

Well apparently venom does the same job as blood. And like, since apparently Edward had never even once masturbated when he was human he had a whole gigantic army of live and frozen little swimmers ready to pounce. Or some sh_t like that. :p
I don't know, I don't think Stephanie Meyer is really creative enough to come up with something so elaborate just to use as a fake spoiler... Same goes for the person over at LJ who wrote all that up. It really just seems like the obvious direction that she would go in. And if these spoilers are real, then I just have to say that I love SMeyer so much... If I ever meet her on the street I'm going to give her a big hug, right after I punch her in the stomach for making me waste my hard earned money and leisurely reading time.

Even though I set up a live journal account, It won't let me into this link. And it seems there are a LOT of Twilight communities, so I'm not sure which one it is.....Care to share the gist?

The community that had the original post is not taking new members anymore (they've probably been flooded over the past week). So join this community first:

Then follow up on the first link that I posted. It's too lolz worthy and long for me to recap and it won't be the same. :)
ps- and the rough epilogue if anyone wants it:

Thanks! That was a hoot! Do people really believe this is the plot to Breaking Dawn? Seriously???
However, I do think Bella will be made into a vampire by Edward only as a 'last resort". I foresee some sort of incident where she's dying, and then Edward can convert her without too much guilt.

Well. I'm late to join this thread. I finished Twilight yesterday. I don't see what all the hype is about. I'm also in the target age range and I found it to be repetitive and predictable. A good chunk of the book was "Oh Edward I love you!" "Oh Bella. I know I love you too but it's hard for me because I long for your blood. Are you scared of me?" "Oh Edward. I'm not scared even though I should be." "Oh Bella I'm dangerous but I think I'm stong enough to resist having you for lunch."
The only reason why Edward was ever even attracted to Bella in the first place was because he liked the way she smelled and he couldn't read her mind. Not very romantic in my opinion.
I did enjoy the ending very much though. This book is just teenage fluff. Something that would be more of a guilty pleasure than a great piece of literature.
ETA: I also had a problem with the fact that on the back of the book it says Edward is a vampire, and yet the first 150 pages of the book was trying to figure out just what Edward was. Assuming people read the synopsis on the back cover those first 150 pages are utterly suspenseless.
