*grits teeth* You watch it, lady. Racial intolerance towards the Chinese Lunar Calendar will not be acceptable, and will be punished by some serious Saran Wrapping of your toilet seat the day before I leave New York.
And I knew Achtung Baby was from what you Western folk call "the Nineties". Honest!
[going to look for questionnaire]
Alrighty then, here's what I could find. And bonus points, Jez and Patronus, if you answer that Zooropa is your favorite album pre-Boy. (Anything to get #1Elph and Mabel off my back!)
And if you're curious to see what we wrote, the questionnaire started here: https://forum.broadwayworld.com/readmessage.cfm?page=95&thread=696825&startthread=1127077&boardname=off
What's your favorite U2 album cover? (And cover of a song?)
What's your favorite song from HTDAAB?
What's your favorite song from 1980s?
What's your favorite song from 1990s?
Pineapples - yay or nay?
Best and worst eras for hair/attire
What's your favorite U2 video?
How do we feel about Electrical Storm in general? Yay or Nay?
PS - Notice how I said the first 3 songs on Achtung Baby are my favorite songs from the NINETIES?? See?? I knew it all along!!
Edited because Tiff found it!
Edited again to say that Tiff totally changed that original post. Didn't you have something like "One is my most favoritest song from the 80s!" Ooooh, I'm just beggin' for a Saran Wrapped toilet seat, aren't I?
Liar! LIAR! One is my FIFTH favorite song from the 80s! Oh wait, I mean...
Really folks, the lady is lying!!
I never said that! Honest!
Well, while we're on the topic, Mabel once said that MacPhisto is her favorite Bono character because she always liked evangelist cowboys. True story!
Well, that was an honest mistake anyone would make.
Eww, Bono's friends with Jesse Helms? Oh, Bono, Bono, Bono...
And on Interference's news for today, apparently Sharon Stone accidentally left Bill Clinton and Bono's phone numbers at her old London apartment after moving out a few days ago post-bombings, and they were found by cleaning staff. Dammit, why am I not a British maintenance worker??
(And on a more important note, Bono's friends with Sharon Stone? Oh, Bono, Bono, Bono, BONO!)
Yeah, I saw those little blurbs. Because I feel like being lame...I got my hands on a celeb's digits, that I must say I am still impressed that I had the self-restraint to not call. I just wanted to hear their answering machine message.
But anyway...Way to go Sharon. That would have been such a bitch if they'd been published in the tabloids or something.
Well, if MacPhisto doesn't look like a cowboy, I don't know WHO does. But even if I give that one to you (which I won't), what about when you said 'The Sweetest Thing' was your favorite song on the Best Of 80-90 CD, and then said it was what made The Unforgettable Fire great for you?
ETA: Which celeb? I got my hands on a couple after Paris's Sidekick fiasco, but then I realized I had nothing to say to Pat O'Brien, and put the phone down.
Well, here we go. If you guys hate me now after reading this, perhaps you could regrade on a curve?
What's your favorite U2 album cover? (And cover of a song?) Album Cover is definitely “All That You Can’t Leave Behind.” Cover of a song is without a doubt “Dancing Barefoot.”
What's your favorite song from HTDAAB? “Original of the Species” “I'll give you everything you want Except the thing that you want” - GREAT lyric.
What's your favorite song from 1980s? “I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For” – “Who’s Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses” is a close 2nd.
What's your favorite song from 1990s? “Mysterious Ways” – “One” is a close runner up.
Pineapples - yay or nay? Love pineapples. Nothing sets the day off right better than a glass of pineapple juice.
Best and worst eras for hair/attire: In general or for U2? For U2, I say the best is now. The worst was the 80s. In general, I’d say now is the best because it’s “normal” and the worst was easiest the 80s.
What's your favorite U2 video? Probably “Elevation”
How do we feel about Electrical Storm in general? Yay or Nay? Yay! I actually really like it. It isn’t the best U2 in the world, but it’s better than 95% of the crap out there nowadays.

Alright now, Tiffany! Our new friends might get the wrong idea and think that I'm totally clueless!
I shall not say who the celeb was, though twas very tough not to give 'em a ring!
ETA: Uh oh, Pat...WGRYWH is from Achtung...you've seen how relentless I've been w/ Tiff! I've got my ammo for you now.
Mabel, if you're hold out on Mr. Vox's phone number, I will hurt you. (Ellie's got a lethal Celine Dion collection, you know.) And I stick by what I said! "The Sweetest Thing"? Unforgettable Fire? Mabel, Mabel, Mabel...
Good responses, Patronus. I forget how much I like Original Of The Species until I hear it again. (Same with Wild Horses, which is a '90s song. That was a deliberate mistake, right? ) I wish they had released OoTS or LAPOE has their new single, instead of City Of Blinding Lights, which I find to be a bit inferior.
You know, after looking at some older photos of the boys, they all look much better with age, don't they? (Except for Larry, who hasn't changed at all.) Especially Adam looks better with the silver hair, me thinks.
ETA: BRB - off for a bi-annual shower, and then pharmacy job tonight!
It actually was a mistake thrown in on purpose. I wanted to see if you'd catch it and get the bonus points.
See, didn't I TELL you Mabel's a crazy one? I'm giving Patronus the benefit of the doubt here - he listed two Achtung Baby songs as his favorites of the '90s (so did I!!!)...surely he's familiar with the CD enough to know in his heart of hearts that Wild Horses is also a '90s song.
(Geez, where's your patronus when you need one, Patronus?)
Yeah, I'm off too...I've got a couple of things to do before the SERIES FINALE of Six Feet Under! BOOOOOO!!!!! Oh, I'm off to have a good cry!
Later guys!
Oh, already time for your bi-annual shower, Tiff. I swear you just had one in June sometime. Pshaw.
Well then, Patronus gets bonus points from me. I'm redeemed in his eyes, right Patty sir? *smirks at Mabel*
She's a crazy lady, that one...
Toodle-oo for now!

Don't be fooled, Patronus. Next come the obscene PMs, requests for nudie pictures, soiled underwear in the mail...so don't say you haven't been warned. I speak from experience, trust me.
Back me up, Mabel!
Oh, the nudie picture requests came long ago...how do you think I found this forum in the first place.
I still find it a bit strange that some girl named Tiff randomly picked me out of the world to ask for some diry pics. Oh well, at least I found BWW as a result.
*nods along w/ Ellie*
And (by her own admittance) her nostrils are different sizes. That alone should be enough to make you change your opinion of her.
Hey folks...SFU was a big disappointment. Boooo! Did you watch, Ellie? You're a SFU watcher, aren't you? Or did I just make that up?
And yeah, Tiff's quite the saucy one!

I am an SFU watcher, 'tis true, but the TV was tied up so I have it taped to savor at a later date...
Tell me that thread just started called 'Six Feet Under Shocker : They All Die!' was a lie!!!!!!!!!!
EDIT - It's just been changed...so it must be true. *wails*

*sigh* Apparently I'm the only person that didn't love the finale.
Don't worry, Mabs, I'm with you. I didn't love the finale.
(but then again I didn't see it).
