What are you scared about??? I mean, it's not like you'll never see them! You've already got tickets for...----hehe, oh yeah. That's Mab and me. *walks away laughing, petting Seattle GA tix* (BTW, my paternal unit got a new cameraphone today, which I'll be taking to U2, baby!!)

I always have my Green Day, you minger.
Boston, Philly, and DC all went on sale this morning (I think that's about it for cities nearby). From what I gather, DC sold out almost immediately, as did Boston (but that'll be 7 dates for them...you'd think the NE folks would be satisfied w/ that and not venture down here) and Philly was one of the slower sellers. Not as bad as Chicago, but there were still nosebleeds and $165s available a couple hours into the sale, so maybe it won't be SO terrible (no, it'll be bad. NYC's the place to be. People that are going to travel to see U2 are likely going to opt for NYC, because all the folks that are out living in the sticks will be like "let's all go to NY and make a trip out of it!" Ya know?)
<-- Knows because she lives in the sticks and is flying out to NYC for the sole purpose of making a trip out of it.
My GOD, why Boston of all places? Boston gets 7 (all sold out, natch, I checked a few times today) and NYC might only get 4?? Likely 5 or 6 after roll-over. I hope I don't have to go to Jersey.
Okay, so what's your process? Are you going to try for 7 and 8 first?

If I don't get tickets on Monday, my last chance will be Hartford on the 19th. So I dunno. Hold me.
*crosses arms* When does Hartford go on sale? Maybe I'll try to buy those tickets just so I can rub it in to you, and then sell them on eBay! Okay, I'm thinking I'll try for MSG on the 8th first, because that's the day less people are likely to go for. And then the 7th.

I just told you - the 19th. What an eejit.
Because, you know, considering that this could have meant the show was on October 19, I'm so obviously unreasonable here. *caresses Seattle GA tix and London/Paris tix and smirks*
That's right Tiff! You're a shining example of why tix are going to be a bitch to get!!!
Ellie, I was thinking the same thing w/ Hartford, but it's such a pain in the ass to get there. The train is SO expensive, and it's right before finals...I don't want to have to use the Civic Center as a last resort! I've actually been there, and it's kind of small, so seating would probably be good, but I don't want to have to pay an extra $80 just to get there and back.
I don't know why Boston's got so many damn dates! (And I figured if they were adding dates, they'd have put in a couple on Sept. 30th/Oct 1st...that would have kicked some SERIOUS ASS! It's my birthday weekend, and the Sox are playing the Yankees at Fenway! I'd have had to go home for that! Even though I know I wouldn't have gotten Sox/Yanks tix, the city'll just be electric that weekend!) *sigh* Why couldn't they have added those December dates in NY! That's certainly make the whole GA option a lot easier...camping out all day in on the sidewalk in December...No thanks! I'll take my nosebleeds!
Eh, you don't wanna go to a concert with a bunch of pretentious Yaley nerds and Connectikites, do you? Yay MSG! Okay hun, I gotta leave soon. Gimme a rank preference for dates to buy. (I'm sure we'll talk about this tmrw, but still.)

Tiff, try for the 7th. Mabel - the 8th, okay?
YaleNot, Mabel's not down with the invisible writing. But she'll see it when she hits Reply. As I did.
Yeah, I'm off too...I'll have to watch David Spade hoping for a less cringe-worthy SNL.
I guess I'd say 7th/8th as my top pix, and if they add dates for the following Thurs/Fri/Sat, that'd work too (I know w/ your birthday the first block of dates would be better, but if those are already kind of picked over w/ the pre-sale, etc...I don't know. I was CERTAIN they'd add more dates today, and all they added were to two random Dec. dates for Boston, so I guess I shouldn't be counting on extra shows!)
Talk to you guys later!

Bye, Mabel.
'YaleNot'? Pathetic.
Bye Ellie!!! We'll be fine on Monday...I hope!!!
Mabel, okay. Whatever dates work. If I'm not in NYC for my birthday weekend, that's fine. And if it's a week later, well, I can fly out and it'll just be a belated birthday treat, sans Ellie! Ellie, can YOU do any better? Yeah, I thought not.

Ladies (and Ellie): In 17 hours, we will be preparing to buy tickets to the MSG shows.
Excuse me while I clean up the mess I made on this chair.
(FindingNamo, if you're still following this thread, did you try for luck for second round Boston tix?)
Ech, don't remind me Tiff!!!
