Yeah, I'd say discussing anything that Claire saw in May, that's still being played at every single show should be pretty fair game. I mean, do we really think that they're going to suddenly replace Streets?! Though I certainly wish they'd drop something else in there for MD every once in a while. I'd say that even shaking up the pre-song banter might help, but it really didn't on 10/14 w/ all that Edge is a spaceman from the future business!

Off to read Pat's Chita review. I hope she did some high-kicks for ya, Pat!

It would be cool to meet Chita backstage, but I suppose for me, it would be more to meet Chita Rivera than anything else. Ditto for Patti LuPone. I couldn't think of what I'd say to her, except "Shut UP, Patti LuPONE!" and some other idiot at the door beat me to it. 'Twas hilarious. In her nasally lazy drawl, "That was very funny...the first hundred times." She's midsentence in the pic I have with her!



Nic, do the U2 fanship community a favour if you make it to the shows, and throw some sharp rocks at the teleprompter, will ya? We need another SH*T-yer-pants moment (a la "Pride" - HOW CAN SOMEONE FORGET THE WORDS TO PRIDE? MY GOD!!) and at the very least he'll be left stuttering during the spiels. "Call your...your...uhm...gas b-b-bi---wait. Pay your moth---no. Let's look at sexy Larry Mullen, boys and girls!"

Anyway, I can't believe he uses a teleprompter, and for Pride?!?! I do believe that is their most-performed song. Seriously! A show sans-prompter, would probably be quite the trainwreck! I wonder just how often he'd have show-halting moments, like Pride from 10/10?!

Don't worry, I won't post you in massive proportions on here. (Part of my good-karma awakening - because if I had this much time on my hand last week, I totally would've made a collage of Nic-age!) And you're lucky the chili beef photo was only on my cell phone cam. But if I can find something really unflattering...




ETA: It wasn't overly whiny and pouty. I'm in the same boat as you - why do you think it's taking me forever to post those BWW HH photos? I'm still trying to superimpose Lucy's face onto my body before sending them out - I don't want my real pic to be at the mercy of 13 people!

Ahhh, Chili Beef! Good times!!! It's kind of a shame that one's on your phone, because it really was quite charming, I must say!

Are you really editing yourself out of all the BWW HH pix? I do hope you aren't going to edit yourself out of the pix you eventually send to me, you wench! Frankly, I have no desire to have that Columbus Circle gem w/ Lucy Liu's face superimposed on it!

Ummmm, I think I take that back on Chilli Beef. I think it was blurry anyway (no need to prove me wrong if it's crystal clear, btw!)

Of course I won't send them to masses of people! And Thanksgiving break is almost here, so I'll FINALLY be able to get my pictures sorted out. I hope there are a couple of quasi-decent ones. I have a feeling they're all going to be pretty blurry though by the time they're blown up to print size.

Your pics will definitely turn out better than mine though. I dunno what was happening for the last few days of the trip - I think the dampness screwed up my camera, because so many pics - and not just the ones you took - turned out blurry. Usually when the flash is on, it'll be crystal clear, albeit really dark in the background, but that wasn't even the case here.

I'm just keeping the concert ones as a chronology of the night. ("Oh, if this one's somewhat clear and the little orbs of light are chasing each other on the edges of the stage, it must be Miracle Drug, because I was sitting down and really bored.")

David Hyde-Pierce, right after the Kelsey comment! You and him are totally stink-facing it.

I almost want to cry at how blurry Bono turned out from that time on Saturday. He stopped! Right there! For a good minute! And I couldn't for the life of me get a clear shot!

Oh, Tiff! That picture of Bono is so sad! When I saw him at NYU, I didn't even bother taking my camera out, because I knew I'd end up w/ a bunch of pix similar to that. You can tell he's smiling in your shot though...even through the extreme blurriness!

Okay, so my rule of thumb is going to be that anyone who's posted their pic publicly on here before or in their fan photos will not be edited out of the BWW HH pics I post on here. (With the exception of you and me.)
