Oh! And another thing. Have you guys clicked on the One Campaign ad on here? They have a merchandise section! For some reason, I'm compelled to buy a 10 pack of One bands, but...do I really need 10 of them when I already have one? That one seems really big on me though. I wonder how large the "small" is.
Also! They're pre-selling the One tee shirts for $10!!!

Was he listening to it on an iPod, or just blaring it out? Who would actually download harpsichord music? (Apart from all the hip London DJs, of course...)
And that was my last little peak at anything setlist related. I could see it was only one line, so it couldn't be too newsworthy...hence my temporary lapse. And it might all change by the third leg, anyway!
Do you think they'll spice up the setlists a bit over in Europe, or maybe throw in something special in Dublin?

Oh, I didn't notice Whiff had crawled in.
That link won't work for me. Are my computer bugs coming back, or is it everyone else too?
I'm going to follow the setlists in Europe and then decide later if I'll follow the leg 3 ones.
I'm bored. Were there any other survey questions to answer? I don't think anyone answered my "favorite album/song of '00-'05" queries, eh? Telling.
Well, it's working for me, loser. But you can follow the official site's link: http://www.one.org/ and then hit "Take Action".

Well, that one works. You must have just messed up the first one, you imcompetent ogre.
No surveys, I don't think. Would you like to create one?
<--- also bored
Hmmm, favorite song 00-05? Walk On, maybe. Nah.
Jeez, the shipping to Canadia costs me as much as buying a pack of 10 wristbands and one tee shirt! $20 and then $20 for S&H??

Where are they shipping from, Uranus?
Heehee...Uranus.
I don't see anything on the website about the One shirts.
And I comtemplated buying a 10-pack of the One bracelets a while ago, but the $5 shipping charge deterred me. I have a small size LiveStrong bracelet and it fits me perfectly, so I would go for that size if you decide to buy them. The regular sizes are way too big.

I think I read somewhere that the One/MakePovertyHistory bracelets were made in underage sweatshops.
Yeah, $5 shipping for 10 bands AND $5 shipping for a tee-shirt...that makes no sense. Yet if you just say $10 for shipping of a tee and 10 wristbands...that doesn't seem so bad. Semantics, eh?
I'm not compulsively buying One bands, but having the large size is driving me crazy. I dropped it when I was sightseeing, and nearly cried. The smaller size is only .25" smaller in diameter, but it makes a big difference. #1, did you want all 10 for yourself? I was going to buy them and give a few to friends, so I figure if eventually I end up having to make you some boots or something, I can stick one in there for you, or mail two to Mabel next time I mail out to her and get her to give one to you.

Yeah, Tiff, I was planning on keeping all 10 for myself and wearing them all at once. Ya know, that's all the rage, having 10 identical rubber bracelets running up your arm.
*smacks self for being smart with someone who was being nice to her*
If you end up getting them, I would love one (I could spare a couple bucks for it; that sounds better to me than shelling out $15 for 10 that I wouldn't know what to do with).
By the way, did all of MSG eventually work? I didn't know YSI was so tempramental.
*covers eyes*
"One" isn't the same as the "Make Poverty History" campaign, is it? *ignores grey writing on main page of one.org*
Wow, I thought you were kidding, Ellie. I don't know if I want one anymore. It is the same as the One campaign.
*grits teeth at #1* I meant did you need all 10, not necessarily for your own personal use, eejit. You've been spending too much time with Ellie. *shakes head* Did you hear she thought Achtung Baby was made in...the '90s? Ha! Losers. 1988, people. Anyway, I can send one to you. I've got a friend with a mail box just over the WA border, so I can see if she'd mind if I have the stuff mailed there. It says something about contacting One if they haven't been received within 30 days, so...it might be a while.
No, no, no. They're not the same. The article refers to a "white band", and really, the One campaign is more an..."eggshell" shade, I think. *hits on hands*

No, I wasn't joking unfortunately. I think it'd be inappropriate to joke about such a serious matter.
*looks pointedly at Tiff*
I passed a fellow on the street th'other day who was wearing bracelets of every color in the rainbow. What a chump.
I-I-I mean just because the page says "One: The campaign to make poverty history" doesn't mean it's the same as the "Make Poverty History" campaign, r-r-right?
*sulks*
Fine, I won't be ordering them. I already swore off of KFC, McD, leather (aside from my lambskin jackets which I adore), Adidas and Kathie Lee Giff---never mind. What's one more.
Do you think the tees are okay?
Broadway Legend Joined: 9/20/04
Dunno about the tees. You could always give your money, and not get anything in return!
I already did in January. My new year's resolution was to match whatever amount of money I spent on eating out that month and donate it to charity. Unfortunately, I eat. A lot.
Oh! Did I tell you guys I saw a clip of the COBL video on the local news a couple of days ago? It looks.......lame. I mean, the local extras look hot, because we just can't help ourselves, but the video is just another "concert" vid. *yawn*
Broadway Legend Joined: 9/20/04
Oh, I didn't mean that to come acoss snarkily. I know you're a charitable person, more so than most. *clutches wad of fives to chest*
I hate concert videos! At least you shouldn't feel so bad anymore for missing out on being there.

You? Snarky? Naaaah.
Oh! Hey! It's the one month anniversary of my first night in Paris!
Yeah, I don't feel badly about not being at the COBL shoot anymore. I mean, who wants to see Bono singing the Hokey Pokey? Not I!
Didja hear about the obscene amounts people are receiving for Live 8 tickets???

eBay gave in and took them offsale...but only after the bad publicity. eBay bosses - yay or nay?
Eee - Paris! Hooray! Was the Eiffel Tower all twinkly? When I was there (yonks ago) it was just, er, non-twinkly.
