Okay, I was stuck in my house while a new floor was being installed, and Syfy played the original series again. I missed the end because they finished installing the floor, but i mustve watched 7 hours. I remember when the miniseries and weekly series came out, but I was not interested in the least.
Well, 25 years later, I thoroughly enjoyed myself with this craptastical series. I say that in the best possible way. It's always fun to see early 80s fashions, hairdos and makeup. How much blush did women go through back then?! Honestly, how comfortable was a side pony tail?!
I LOVED Badler and Chadwick...OMG! Chadwick was such a ringer for Bonnie Tyler I kept hearing "turn around, bright eyes" in my head. I loved how Badler's uniform made a V pointing to her V-gina.
The token black character was pretty lonely in LA until Sheryl Lee Ralph finally showed up...where were the other AAs? And the one asian character was so offensive they might as well have called him Fu Manchu.
I love when floppy disks were still floppy.
Now I want, of course, to see the original miniseries and final battle!
One question...what happened to Elizabeth's lizardy twin?
"Carson has combined his passion for helping children with his love for one of Cincinnati's favorite past times - cornhole - to create a unique and exciting event perfect for a corporate outing, entertaining clients or family fun."
"In Oz, the verb is douchifizzation."
