Mick surprised me and pulled it off. He looks and sounds great. Mick and Jeff Beck were amazing.Have not seen Jeff Beck in years and he looks exactly as I remember him.
I got a little teary eyed at the end. The tribute to Kristin Wiig was sweet. One of the best finales I have seen.

"Lazy Sunday 2," at long last. "Sister Act."
Honestly, Madonna should have gotten The Lonely Island boys to producer her record, that ish sounded gooooood.

Even with the dubstep break?
I thought it was a decent episode with some great moments--the Wiig sendoff was very sweet.

Does anyone have the lyrics to Mick's presidential election song, the one where he warned not to let Mitt "cut your hair"?

Who was the last guy to appear in the "Californians" sketch? He got a big reaction from the audience.

Looking at this gallery of Kristen Wiig's characters, some good and some bad, made realize that she was a big part of the show. I enjoyed her and she will be missed.

That was kind of old news. The 100th Digital Short was his send off. Hader and Sedakis are supposed to leave however no real "Official" word from SNL has come down. I believe they might return and leave just after the elections.

We will see what happens between now and the middle of September. I believe Sedakis will hang on until after the election. There are tw planned Prime tIme Elections scheduled this fall. I am sure there are negotiations going on and that there will be an onnouncement one way or the other by the end of August.

Interesting pairings of music and host. Craig and Muse seem the most obvious. Has it been confirmed who are doing the song for Skyfall? That seems like something Muse would do though Adele's been linked as well.
