Shira 'TEARS UP'?!?!?
I'm so proud - and I have to sit down now.
I can't help it. I feel like things are settling in place the way they should.
Congrats Shira!
Thanks YWIW!
Just talked to my Mom. They have no power. Hope y'all are okay.

That's weird - it's still as can be here right now. I guess we better 'batten down the hatches'!
Hope everythings ok over there . . .
That is weird.
In NY, things are okay. I'm inside (obviously) so I don't care what happens outside. But its been very wet and gross and cold. Ah, how I suffer for my happiness at times.
Well Shira, prepare. We are supposed to get a "Noreaster" or whatever on Sunday night/Monday. Lots of rain and flooding. joy!
Oh gee. Wee?
Congrats to everyone with all the good news!
Shira yeh for getting into the school you wanted.
DG and Tin Man for the film job and possible SAG card
To Erika on such a successful show and great reviews
Best wishes to Tink for all the success in her new job!
It has been a very good-news week on BWW. My good news is that my husband is out of town for two weeks so I have my life to myself for awhile! lol
Baddy, You ARE BAAAAD!
I know. Slap my hand if you must but except for the animals life is peaceful when he's out of town for awhile. He's in Prague doing what he loves - preaching - so he's doing okay.
I'm not going to slap you EVER for ANYTHING! I absolutely adore my betrothed, but when he's not around, there is a calmness that evades us at all other times! Even the kids seem more relaxed!
Ain't that the truth. How was the rest of your trip in NY and how is your job going? What do you think of the Inherit the Wind reviews on the main board?
I was just reading the reviews and I agree with the positive ones! I loved the play. I do think that Mr. Plummer was the standout, but I thoroughly enjoyed it...even though I had had a glass of wine prior to seeing it and during Act I was a tad "drowsy"!
The rest of the trip was okay...Caldwell got really sick, so that wasn't fun.
I also really enjoyed it but I don't consider myself much of a critic. Too bad about Caldwell. I did read that you liked Pirate Queen. I had an uneventful trip home but Easter weekend was very busy but fun seeing 4 grandkids baptized at the Easter Vigil mass. It was almost 3 hours long but I just let my mind take me back to NYC.
Baddy, you were thinking about depraved New York while the baptisms were happening! Shame on you!
I did like Pirate Queen. I think it's the kind of thing whose time is long past, but I was able to enjoy it...maybe because it is so anachronistic...and also because my expectations were as low as they could be going into it. I was surprisingly moved by it. If it's still aorund when you come back, you should go to see it. I'll go with you.
Happy Friday!
Happy Friday back at you!
I am very crabby this week.
