We have our major fund raiser next weekend. Mrs. Brd and I worked all evening on the details. I have not finished our taxes, and the upper floor is under construction! There is dust everywhere. HELP!!!!!

Aw. My parents RAN whenever the word "fundraising" was bandied about. Though my Mom did some stuff for my brother, by the time I was older, she was ready for a "re-fund". (Okay, that needs development).

We have a lot of fun. The kids also love to get involved in setting up the various events.

You do realize that the professional term for "fundraising" is "development," don't you?

In other words, instead of "Director of Fundriasing," it's called "Director of Development."

This is hilarious! We have had a long standing debate as to whether it is fundraising or fund raising. We use the phrase "fund raising" for the yearly events, but we have a Development Chair.

Goodmorning everyone in Mojitoland - I have to say this is one AM when I am glad not be in NYC! It is cool but SUNNY here in Michiganland. Just getting ready to cook breakfast for my daughter and me and this afternoon going to the U of M's musical theater production of The Who's Tommy.

Good morning! It's just steady light rain here at the moment. But I live on a hill so I see the stream going down it and gathering at the bottom, oy!

But on a positive note....The in laws are staying home so I don't need to play hostess. However, that just means it is moved to next week.
