I really am beginning to hate being a part of this board and I'm seriously considering abstaining from posting altogether. Some on here have some major attitude problems and really p*ss me off. I know I shouldn't let it get to me and I should just ignore it but sometimes these people need to be taught that if they're gonna dish it out they better be prepared to have it thrown back right at them.

DA - that sentiment seems to be very common on the boards these past few days. I haven't paid much attention (nor do I usually do anyway), so I really have no idea what is going on. However it upsets me greatly to think we are losing some great posters.

Surely there are continuing education courses that don't require the essays and exams. Down here there are quite a few subjects you can take where you go to lectures and tutes, but don't have the aggravation of assessment.

It depends whether you are taking the class for the knowledge, or for the credit. If you want to finish a degree started in days of yore then you will have to suffer through all those pesky assessment tasks. But, if you are just wishing to improve the mind, there are other options.
