And Tink- I do travel a lot. I am not planning on going anywhere now until Feb (Vegas) and May (LA). Although I am going to New Jersey on Friday, and that is also a foreign location to me!

I notice that Seattle is no where in your plans... again.
We have tons of snow so far this year.
Stevens has 55" at the base and 62" at the summit. Crystal has 48" at the base and 66" at the summit. And Grandma would love to see you. And if you time it right, I might throw in the tickets to Bee.

haha, any reason in particular you are coming to lovely NJ?
I got to go to Vegas in August for a pool championship. It was really cool, other than that I've been to the exciting states of Kansas, Kentucky, Delaware, etc, lol through work.
I've been promised a cruise to Bermuda in April but we'll see if that happens!

I love Vegas, I was there for New Years last year. Just want to go back cuz it's fun. I have been to all 50 states, somehow.
I will be in Jersey to go to Ikea!!!

We get hardly any snow in Seattle proper. You have to go up to the mountains... usually above 2,500' you can start seeing the snow. We just get rain!

Posted: 12/12/06 at 4:32pmNope, we NYers have to go to Jersey to go to Ikea! That's the only time I am out there, for that, Six Flags, and Newark airport. Though I also will be going Dec 23rd to West Orange for a holiday party that I am not so happy about.

I wish I had a car so I could go for like an hour, but as I have to take a bus to and from Port Authority, and have someone get me at the station, I have to be there all day.

hep - aww thanks! We used to have a huge extravagant party, then then company started to decline, so now we get lunch in the conference room! It's all good!
L - I'm sorry! I was supposed to have a holiday party at my house that night, I'd say ditch the family, we'll pick ya up, and come on over, but I canceled it. After hosting thanksgiving, I'm in no mood to entertaining again!
So day started crappy, got somewhat better, and then.......
I just got home from work and there was a note taped to my door from a police officer. It said regarding my hubby's car, call ASAP. We have been trying to help his friend out because he fell on some hard times. We had a 1990 Camaro we were going to junk, so we said we'd give to him real cheap. We'd help fix it up, etc, (barely runs at the moment), all he has to do is find a place to store it. So he did and we had it towed over. Everything is honkey dorey, except that my wonderful hubby has been lazy and not gotten the title transferred. I just found out the car was towed 30 days ago as an abandoned vehicle, and his friend never told us. So now we are trying to figure the whole mess out. I always tell myself doing nice things only gets you screwed over, but I never listen. This is going to cost a pretty penny to resolve, and I know his friend isn't good for the money, so we will get stuck eating the bill. I need alcohol!

Tink, I rarely drink anymore, last time I drank I was waaaay too drunk. I think I posted on BWW that night actually. Not very well though.

Drunk posts/texts/dials are the highlight of my life! I love them (not me making them, but receiving them and making fun of the drunk when they are sober).
The last time I was REALLLLY drunk was in Vegas, but that is to be expected. The last time I got sick drunk was at a lounge in NYC almost a year ago. Man their drinks are small but they packed a real punch!!! I mainly just like to have a cocktail or beer and relax.
