Finally got some sleep, to wake up to the sad news of three deaths and lots of damage done by last night's storm. My best friend's car was totalled by a fallen tree. Not at work today because we have no power in the office, and the bridge that takes me across the lake is closed. That was one scary storm... I can't begin to imagine what a hurricane is like.

Oh, DD, that's horrible. I'm so sorry for all the destruction, but it's good to hear that you made it through ok.
I haven't expereinced a full hurricane since I can remember, but we've gotten some bad Tropicl Storms and such, and it isn't pretty.
Please continue being careful. As they say it is more dangerous right after the storm than during it!

Oh, DD, that storm made our news last night. The sight of that Northwest Airlines plane trying to land at Seattle is spooky stuff.
