I used to live in Denver, I was in a ski club and went up to Winter Park, Mary Jane, Breckenridge, Copper Mountain every weekend during the winter.

I drank my first mojito tonight..so I thought it only appropriate that I finally post on this thread. (P.S. My first was quickly followed by my second and third. :))
Congrats and welcome to the club!

Thanks
Aren't they great? I pretty much only have them in the summer, but I feel like one now.
I am past the point of tired.

That doesn't mean YOU can't go, DD!
Oh, that sucks DD! Are you still going?

That does suck...I'm sorry.
I've never been skiing...I'll go with you :)
I don't like to drive up there alone, especially with current conditions.
I'm sorry DD! I know how much you like skiing!
We'll join you with a mojito to help you feel better!!

Definitely!
Matt... get on over here? How long will it take you to get to Seattle?
I was about to go to bed, since I was to be up at 6:00 am. Now I'm gonna go meet friends out for a bit.

Bad boy . . .
Au contraire! I was a good boy. Had a fun time. Now time to sleep...
Good morning everyone! I had an interesting day/night in the city last night. The weather was unbelievable!!! Forbidden Broadway: SVU was good, just not as good as I would've hoped. The theater was so small, it was a little shocking at first. All of the actors were excellent. The Lion King and Les Mis songs had me laughing so hard I was in tears (the new thing...at least they told me it was a newer addition...was instead of "One Day More" they did "Six Months More".) The internet info listed the show as 1 hour 30 minutes, and it only lasted 1 hour 10 minutes. Hubby, not knowing much about theater, found some parts really funny but was really lost at others, but he sat there like a trooper. Either way, I'm glad I saw it. Just felt so good to be there.
Walked around NYC. I bought my first item from a street vendor. I always look but never buy. But I now have a beautiful and comfortable Cashmere scarf. Went to this bar/grill called Latitude, not bad. When in the ladies room, some chick burped so loud and fierce that it put every man I know to shame. We walked to Rockafeller and saw the tree, yippee (sorry crowds got to me and the tree wasn't as magnificent as I'd always pictures). Went to Macy's saw the window displays which were amazing. Probably the most enjoyable trip I've had in NYC in a while. Next scheduled trip is at the end of Jan for Spamalot, but I'll try to find a way to get in sooner.
K, enough of my rambling.
Glad you had a fun trip, Tink!!
Thanks, L. How's the new home sweet home?
Still a mess! Need to do laundry today.
Why can't they extend weekends to 3 days?
I'm so glad you like your new place!
I feel like I get less sleep on the weekends than I do on the weekdays!
