I tell ya!
Now waiting for a friend to go get some brunch.
I can see the mountains... it's a beautiful clear day. *sniff*
Sounds nice! I talked to Grandma this morning, she got power back in Bellevue, but other relatives on Mercer Island are still out.
Another note- last night around midnight, I went up on the roof of my building, the view is absolutely amazing! Could see sooooo clearly. DD, remind me that I have to take you up there!
It's a beautiful day down here, too. DD, come and splash in the pool. It might take your mind off the skiing.
I was out and about all day in just a sweatshirt, it is absolutely gorgeous out! This is not right! Oh well, I'll enjoy it anyway!
Can I come splash in the pool too?
I'm jealous Tink, I have yet to be outside today.
Liotte, the spare towels are in the basket.
Pools?? **runs and hides** me + bathing suit + water = not happening. You kids have fun! =)
L - you have to go out! Don't miss out. I've had the windows open all day and it smells so fresh in here now (until kitty has her way of course!)
You could sit on a chaise with a drink and a book, MT.
Thanks GH!!
Tink, my window is open, but I have so much unpacking to do, I am not going anywhere til the show tonight!
GH- That's sounds like a marvelous idea!! A mojito and Sense & Sensibility. I'll be right over!
L - Have a great time at the show tonight. It must be cool to say you saw the final performance of a show, flop or not. BTW - I thought of you when they did the Barfee skit at the show last night.
I haven't seen the Bee skit in FB yet! I need to go!!!!
I have been at a few closing performances- I went to The Times are a Changing, All Shook Up (saddest day ever!), will be at Wedding Singer closing on the 31st, a couple others as well.
Ooh! I love Forbidden Broadway.
I really haven't seen it in about 2 years, I do need to go back.
So, do I.
Wow, L, that's awesome! I was thinking of going to see the Wedding Singer before it closed, but for some reason I'm not that into it. High Fidelity never struck my cord either. All Shook Up, I heard good things about that from someone, sometime. Why did it close?
GH - I won't say I loved it, but I will say I enjoyed it. A lot of skits I was hoping to see were not done, so maybe that's why.
I try to see all the musicals that come out, the ones that I like I will see again. All Shook Up and Wedding Singer are both fun, high energy, happy shows, and both closed/are closing way before their time. At least they both have tours!!
I will be at Wedding Singer a lot in the next 2 weeks, let me know if you decide to come in and see it!
I have the 26th off, and I may take the 27th off. I'm trying to con a friend into going to a show on one of those days, don't know if it will happen though! I'll keep you posted!
I will definitely be at WS both of those days.
I just don't know how you manage it, L.
That's cool. We are thinking about doing a Wed matinee and just going to TKTS (can't completely decide on what to see yet). Do you think there will be a good selection to choose from? I've never done TKTS before.
Around Xmas and New Years, it won't be as good of a selection. I haven't done TKTS in ages!
GH- the show is closing that week! I have to get my fill in!
L - How do you get your tickets then? Do you lotto/rush?
Yup!
