hmm, I'll have to look into that!
I love sitting in the front row. At All Shook Up, they didn't have rush so I had to buy front row seats all the time. Ah, but it was worth it!
I definitely prefer rush and lottos though!
I had 5th row for Grinch and that was awesome. Definitely a great experience and really spoils you! Now I want to see them all close up, but I'm trying to be realistic.
I sat farther back at Grinch, which was fine because I went on a Thurs morning at 11am (before thanksgiving) and there were so many screaming kids up front!
front row is a little 'too' close for me. About 10 rows back in the orchestra makes me very happy.
Just back from brunch... I'm stuffed. Nap time!
'night, night, DD.
Front row is awesome! I am trying to think if there are any shows that I prefer to be farther back at. Sweeney Todd, perhaps?
I sat 6 or 7th row when I saw RENT. I was in heaven.
I was front row for Kiss Me, Kate. The orchestra pit allowed some distance between my seat and the stage. So, no real neck problems. It was fun having a gangster stare at me during Brush Up Your Shakespeare. I also managed to catch some petals from the finale. A good evening.
In NYC, I think Hairspray and Wedding Singer are the only really tall stages that you have to look up a lot to see. But I don't mind.
I get uncomfortable if someone from stage makes eye contact with me. I don't know why, but if they make eye contact, I look away and get fidgety. It's so silly and stupid, but I still do it. When I saw Adam Pascal at a show, I swear he made eye contact 2 - 3 times and I probably looked like a paranoid freak. Then, I tell myself, no they weren't actually looking at you, calm down. I know, I'm weird.
I just smiled and stared back. He noddd and moved on.
Some actors like to make eye contact. When I saw Two Gentlemen of Verona, I was in the front row. One of the guys had this long speech, and he engaged me, so I looked back and engaged him. After the show he thanked me, actually.
It can be fun making eye contact with people.
High Fidelity was fun tonight, sorry to see the show go!

Hello all, it will be an early night for me. Late Late night for me. The party was much fun. Lots of prep work and lots of $$$ on the bar! But, we now are stocked! We went through 12 bottles of bubbly, case of wine, much Scotch, vodka and many beers! I am tired!
Wait- is it an early night or a late night?

Yes, I remember how horrible moves have been. You wake up Monday exhausted and you cannot find your clothes, tooth brush, etc! What part of town are you now?
I am already exhausted! Looking forward to winter break next week!
I am still in midtown, same street but a block farther west from where I was before.

Crappy Monday! Lots to do before the holiday weekend.
I actually went Christmas shopping last night, finally! Spent more money than I should have, but I am beginning to believe that is the only point of shopping!
Brd - I hope your week isn't too hectic and that you get to enjoy some of it!
