If it were up to me, Baddy would live with me year-round and we would hang out together all the time and do nothing but see shows and bake french cakes. (She's goooood at that.) I gotta get her out of Michigan; Caldwell will be better at convincing her of that though...since he grew up there and got out of there as quickly as posssible!
DG, I'm typing to you with my eyes closed, falling asleep as I try with what little energy I have left to leave you with one, intelligible, unembarrassing remark...but it just ain't coming.

Back home... managed to get two tix to ACL SRO. Unfortunately, they only sell one ticket at a time, and had to get back in line. So my friend and I have to stand separately.
And yes, the view from L's roof is totally awesome! Can't wait to get up there and take some pix. After I nap.

I'm pretty sure you'll like ACL, DD! If you have any qualms I'm pretty sure ours would be similar. But it was still a magical night when I saw it!

Woohoo, I've got new years plans! Not great ones, but it's still a plan and I can stop racking my brain. Going to a nice dinner with another couple and back to their house for the evening.

DD - I hear we may be able to get you a private meeting with Miss Tanny! Yay! I'm seeing The Apple Tree, NYCB's The Sleeping Beauty and Mary Poppins (finally!). Too bad I have to work and that it's such a quick trip. So much more to see and do.

Hello all! A few days break with family and friends. Christmas was wonderful.
We learned of the loss of two of our dearest friends over the last few days, very tough time here. Two great men who have been vert dear to my wife and kids as well as my parents, sisters and brothers. We mourn their passing.

Brd - I am so sorry for your family's loss. What a terrible way to end the year.
I hope everyone has a great new year. DD, I am glad you got to see ACL. I really enjoyed it in SF, and I can only imagine it has gotten better since transferring.
I am having a small get together tomorrow night with friends and neighbors to welcome in 2007. Hopefully it will be a better year for all than 2006.
