Was it packed? Where did you sit? Anything done differently? And what is your total tally of performances?
Happy New Year Everyone!
Good first morning of 2007! I'm so glad to hear everyone enjoyed their new years celebrations! L - Glad you finally got a decent night sleep! So what show are you moving you attention to now that WS is closed? =)
We went to an expensive steak house, but the food and service really sucked, so that dampered the night a little bit, but it's all good!
I sat front row in the center. Amazing. My total tally is a lot, but worth every minute and every penny.

Good morning and happy 2007, everyone!
Disneyland was so crowded you could barely walk. (They were sold out. SOLD OUT! As in, not selling any more tickets. We already had ours, though.) I've never seen it like that. It was NUTS. Anyway, we did the Tiki Room, got a couple of caramel apples, and then got the hell of of Dodge. Went over to California Adventure, which was also crowded, but not as bad as D-land, and we managed to do California Screamin' and the Tower of Terror. We had to get a Fast Pass for Soarin' Over California for 6 hours later (what??), which we planned on coming back for, but we had agreed to meet our friends at their hotel for dinner, and it ended up not working out.
By the time we got over there, got the kids corralled, and had dinner, it was well past our Fast Pass time. We actually were at their hotel for far longer than we were at the parks.
We were going to go back to the park anyway (open til 1am), but when we drove by, the signs now said that BOTH parks were completely sold out, which meant even CA Adventure was going to be too crowded to walk, and I just wasn't into it.
So, we were actually home before midnight. I fell asleep just before the ball drop, but I'd already seen it from the East Coast on one of the TV's in the hotel bar/restaurant at 9pm, so it was all good.
Overall, a kind of exhausting day, but still fun. Wouldn't do it again, though.
Happy New Years!
Erika, you should have stopped by for a New Years Toast!
I had about 12 people, and a lot of fun.
Lots of wine and Champagne, and a good time was had by all, except for Zorra, who hid in the bedroom most of the night. All left by about 1.
And, not too bad of a headache this morning.
Time to finish cleaning up.
Happy New Year Everyone!

YWIW - Sounds fatastic! Sadly, I will never be able to visit you at your home, as cats put me in the hospital (literally). And I love them, which makes it even more sad.
Anyway, sounds like everyone has a pretty nice New Year's Eve! Hooray!
Alas, right after I hit submit, I remembered your allergies. Both Stoli and Zorra send their regrets.
I think a couple of other BWW were supposed to be a Disneyland, but from the sounds of the crowds, I would suspect that they too probably fled!

I have a sudden major desire to go to Disneyland right now. But that won't really be possible, as I'm at least 2-6 hours by plane
New Years here has been uneventful -- vodka and movies and quietness.
I'm considering leaving my apartment for a movie today, but we'll see.
Shira! I thought we were out of town? I am leaving in an hour.
I came back Saturday - but I didn't want to bother you.
Now I kind of wish I had!
WHAT?!!! Bother me?!!! Are you KIDDING ME?!!!
We've been lounging on the couches all day since we got home (Wildfire marathon on ABC Family, I'm such a dork!). We keep saying that we are going to get up, get dressed, and do something (shopping or movie)...but I still haven't moved. blehhh
*hugs*
EDIT: I just got yelled at in the "Excuse me? You were in NY and I was in NY and you didn't CALL?" form.
DD is on his way back to DC. It was great to see him!!
I'll bet it was!
*curses self*
Well, I was gonna go to the movies, and then I looked at the weather - I don't wanna outside!
*sends the hippo in rain gear with cocoa for shira*
I don't want to do anything today. Literally, stay in pajamas and watch tv all day long. That's me.
I second that Liotte. I mysteriously have HBO for the day, so I'm enjoying it!
Does it feel weird to be indoors for long amounts of time, after all those nights at Rush? =) Your bed probably has never felt more comfy.

We took down the tree and cleaned up the Christmas decorations.
Fun New Year's Eve, C13 was sick so my wife stayed home with her.
Yes, apparently there is a flu going around...

I usually got the flu when I had the shot, so I no longer get it.
