I just walked into my apartment after work tonight, and all 3 of my roommates are in the living room watching Rent (the movie). So totally random, as they are not theater people!!
Do you have a gun in the house?
No, why?

is that an attack on rent?
I finally got my pocket pc to access my wireless
I certainly hope not, the movie has its flaws but I can't think of anything that doesn't.
I am going through major Wedding Singer withdrawal.
Awww poor L!!! I hope you find something to take you out of your WS blues.
I hope so too! I am staying away from theater for awhile. Not counting tomorrow's matinee of either Mamma Mia or Tarzan, which I am taking a couple kids to for work. May not see anything til Bee on Sunday.
I'm theatre-less for 3 weeks =( Hubby has to go to a bachelor party to go to next Saturday night, so there is an urge to go into NYC and catch something, but I am trying to be good.
What would you see if you could come back to the city?
Same as before..ACL, RENT, Bee, Apple Tree, Q...haha pretty much everything. Whatever would be easiest to see...but I doubt I will actually make it in. I have shows the following two weekends, so I should pace myself.

I think we have Doubt with Cherry Jones in a few weeks. I should check the tickets. I believe that the tix might conflict with the Bears Playoffs!
Sounds good Tink, good luck with everything!
Brd, which would you choose?

Bears no doubt! But, the theatre tix can be changed.
I want to see Wicked, but I can not afford a Wednesday matinee off from the office. I am as busy as I have been in my entire career.
Good that the theater tickets can be changed!
That's why I get tickets the day of the show, easier to plan my schedule that way!

How was the movie?
Didn't watch, was on the phone most of the night.
Time for bed, early work tomorrow.
Goodnight!
DAME, I was at Piazza when you posted...
In order:
A Chorus Line: loved it. A little disappointed in Michael Berresse (I was standing practically next to him) and Charlotte, but not enough to ruin the experience. I was very moved.
Drowsy Chaperone: Very funny. Laughed the whole time. A little underwhelmed, but I was also exhausted as I had been walking all day and didn't get a chance to rest.
Martin Short: Fame Becomes Me: the best surprise of the weekend. Not on my radar at all, and had the best time.
RobbieJ's show at Rose's Turn: So much fun!
Light in the Piazza: Wonderful. Just wonderful. So moving! The tour cast is excellent.
Liotte: you have a tv in your living room?
Well, DD, I am sure you will love the future revival of The Drowsy Chaperone because you personally know those who will be starring in it.
DD: Isn't Fame Becomes Me fabulous? Probably my fave of the year.
Though I didn't care for Fame Becomes Me, I think all the actors, especially the comedy troupe players, were amazing.
It was very clever. I had a great time. And it was great to see bww's own Marc Shaiman in action.
It was clever, just not my style of humor for the most part. I'm still glad I saw it.
Good morning everyone!

Everytime I see ACL I think of Anterior Cruciate Ligament.
I saw Marting Short - very fun, but a little too silly. I enjoyed seeing Brooks A - love his voice in A New World.
Another gorgeous day in Chicago, if I did not have about 40 files that need my attention I would head over to the Oriental.
Happy Humping Day!
