She is a slave to this house and this family. I am also so happy for her that her career has some possibilities. Another call back and commercial audition tomorrow.

She really hates that comment in Avenue Q that you must go after things while you are still in your prime!!!

Right now, having a bite to eat and blasting Wagner choral works - which are amazing!

Tell her that you're always in your prime, as long as you're breathing. At any given moment, you are the exact thing that you have been building toward.

I am addicted to the news and watch it here most evenings until Midnight.

Sidebar, I had a nice deposition of a Polish speaking witness today. It is such a strange experience. Sometimes I look at the interpreter rather than the witness for the answers.

brd - with ALL due respect (and I hope you know I mean that) even family members have disagreements - and many times, with real foundation. Liotte has taken some positions and expressed some opinions that I have had to step back from, and REALLY try to put in perspective. I don't necessarily judge her for them, but I DO consider them when reacting to the 'whole' that she presents.

I guess I enjoyed Running With Scissors. I just found it too damn disturbing to really be able to tell. I am making that, "I don't know" confused face while typing this.

Maybe it the, "Why the f**k am I awake" face. Who knows.

I've decided I like this thread. It's got all my favorite people in it.

DD: Thanks so much for your lovely comment regarding wanting to meet me someday. The feeling is mutual.

I'm trying to catch up on chores around the house today. It's quite alarming the state I allowed the place to get into over the past couple of months. The dusting alone has been - well - disgusting. Oy! (And no, my husband doesn't clean, so that's why it got so bad. He cooks, though, so I really can't complain!)

I hate chores. I really do. Actually, I don't mind cleaning the bathroom and such, but I hate folding clothes. Blah.
