Oh... I understand the cultural difference. I just don't think that as adults we curse any more or less. Kids need to be exposed to everything and be taught what's right and wrong, no?

Anyway... that's the way we were raised.

My parents NEVER used profanity when I was growing up...not in front of us kids and not when they were just with their friends. You don't need your parents to use off-color language to be exposed to it, believe it. That's what school is for!

Well... in all fairness, mom NEVER cursed. I don't think I've ever heard her say a curse word. EVER. My dad on the other hand...

Not meaning to stir the pot, but you pushed L away. Right or wrong, teasing or not, why would she want to post here if all she gets is berated for being who she is.

I'm waiting for all the kids to get here -- and believe me, if I curse using the word "bitch", it wouldn't be pretty. Because the kids would go "Shira used the B word".
