Yes, but DD, if you do it here, and your kids pick it up and bring it to school, it's cause for sensation.
Oh... I understand the cultural difference. I just don't think that as adults we curse any more or less. Kids need to be exposed to everything and be taught what's right and wrong, no?
Anyway... that's the way we were raised.
Funny how I ask about the " L" word meaning Liotte.. and Rath pops up.
My parents NEVER used profanity when I was growing up...not in front of us kids and not when they were just with their friends. You don't need your parents to use off-color language to be exposed to it, believe it. That's what school is for!
(I love the word "randy"!)
Well... in all fairness, mom NEVER cursed. I don't think I've ever heard her say a curse word. EVER. My dad on the other hand...
Not meaning to stir the pot, but you pushed L away. Right or wrong, teasing or not, why would she want to post here if all she gets is berated for being who she is.
I'm waiting for all the kids to get here -- and believe me, if I curse using the word "bitch", it wouldn't be pretty. Because the kids would go "Shira used the B word".

Busy day here! We are supposed to have very nice weather this week!
It was sunny and nice this morning, but now we're back to windy and rain in the forecast. I'm supposed to take the bus in December... not sure I'm ready for that in this weather.
We've had a couple of days in the mid-90s here. Expect a thundery change, though.
Here endeth the weather briefing.
It always rains on Thanksgiving anymore!
Oh, yes. Nervous turkeys abound.
In addition to the nervous turkeys, we have the Rockettes slipping and sliding in front of Macy's. It's too nerveracking for words.
It's not Thanksgiving in the Northwest without a good windstorm...
Back to the essays...I'm sure I'll be poppin' in every now and then...

Any way we can be of help, Shira, you just let us know - we know lots about Hell - and even a little about Frenching - uh, I mean French, of course.
Mmm Frenching, is that my cue?
Sitting in a recording studio. Will be a long night.
Thanks DG -- I'm good on the Frenching, not so much on the French.

LG - it's the feathers, isn't it?
You're such a dirty bird . . .
Figures, LG gets excited!
Thanks DG -- That can help me regain my passion for the French, er, language.
I wish the cut was lower.
