Except it would be nice if the grades were actually GOOD --- oh well. They'd probably be worse without the coffee.
Ooh! A conversation about caffeine!
Ouch.
Dang! I'm gonna miss Heroes 'cause I have to meet with the designer I work for.
I know, I know... tivo.
I could use some of that coffee! I'm up at 4am to fly back to the city, straight back to work and of course, broadway related concert tomorrow night. *sigh*

That is early! I was up at 5:00 am this morning.
4 am IS early. And the fact that I will probably still be up at 1 am my time, when L is just waking up, is disconcerting.
Very glad that the bar we were at actually wound up having Heroes on the tv.
Is it okay to come in or am I going to be attacked because I didn't cook dinner tonight?
Wrong thread... you are always welcome here. Now, had you cooked dinner you would be MORE welcome, but I digress.
I actually DID cook dinner tonight, if heating up a pre-cooked roast and boiling carrots counts as making dinner.
I USED TO cook all the time--and I was really good at it, may I say with all humility. But then I married Caldwell B. Cladwell who is a master chef. Since I work outside of the house and he stays home, it all made sense: let the expert have his craft!
HELLO! I can cook every day, after work regular meals. But not the fancy schmancy stuff. My ex took care of that. That's why I still spend T-day with him and his current.
How's Ms. P on this cold NW evening?
It's not cold here! We're supposed to be having some sort of "heatwave" this week! I ain't complaining about that!!!!
Yeah... I was about to bitch about driving for an hour, but they're showing people who had to leave their cars on the freeway because they couldn't make it up the hills in Issaquah (east of Seattle.)
Is that because of the rain, DD?
We're getting hit by a winter storm... snow and ice. Right now the issue is ice. And because of all the hills - who the hell thought it would be a good idea to build a city on hills is beyond me - it makes it difficult to get around. We got a max of 6" of snow, and the City is paralized.
Oh my goodness! I'm so sorry. I have been out of it all night. I'm glad you got home safe and sound!
Thanks. It took me an hour for my usual 20 minute commute. The longest part was getting up the hill from the freeway to where I live. It wasn't too bad when I got home. It's also much worse to the north and east. Went out with a friend for a bit... it was lovely to walk in the snow, thought it's turning to ice now, which shall make for a fun commute in the morning.
My kids can't wait for snow! When we were in Michigan last month, the weathercaster kept calling for snow on the news and they were SO excited. Of course, the thought of driving 600 in the snow does NOT appeal to me, but my Michigan-born husband thinks it's a piece of cake! PULEEZE! I'd rather have the cake!
I'm more scared of everyone else when I drive in snow. I do love the snow... and of course, this all means there's plenty of snow on the mountains, and I'll hopefully be carving fresh tracks this weekend.
Hope it's snowy--and pretty--when you're here in December!
Well... not too much. I have to get to NYC the next day, and get back to DC the 1st.
If it snows and stays cold here, my house and property will be snowladen all winter long. You'll see. Literally, right next door, everything will be melted and green, but it's Finland on my side of the yard!
The roads will be fine though.
Off to the airport! Have a good day everyone!
