It's NOT after 3 here, MissP - I, personally, am waiting for my working actor to get home from a prolonged and grueling tech rehearsal.

And believe it or not, I had some who thought Maleficent was the scary one. Obviously, that's not a priority of mine

I like your current av much more. It's magestic and powerful...the man with his face blown off was what my kids would call "Gross, yucky and disgusting." Who was it, by the way? (And was this in keeping with St. Francis's best hopes and dreams, huh???)

Hehe - it was from the movie SCANNERS - a classic B-level horror show from the 80's (which is odd that I even know, because I hate horror movies!)

It pretty much just expressed my mental state at the time.

And now I'm back to wielding supernatural powers

Shira - no, my Darling One, it isn't reflective upon you - I know how you hate that

DD - I'll spoil you forever, as you deserve!

And MissP - you're absolutely right, this isn't very reflective of St. Francis (to my discredit) - but it IS reflective of St. Joan of Arc, a warrior saint. Sometimes, passivity leads to destruction - so calling upon the icons of righteousness is what we are left with.

Ms. P - I hope things get better. The good thing about having emotional days is to know that there are emotions to be had. I know it doesn't help... but sometimes it's just best to feel the emotions. They take less of a toll that way.

DG - continue talking to me like that and the TinMan and you might find yourselves with a pesky regular guest...

St. Francis was a warrior... he just chose to fight in a non-aggressive way. I went to franciscan high schools... St. Francis 7-9 and St. Clare's 10 & 11.

On that note, I must crawl into bed. Good thing I haven't gotten into the habit of taking my laptop to bed with me. When that day comes it won't be pretty... I am never leaving my bed.
