Boner.

I absolutely cannot abide that word. It added to a song I was singing in the first show I did in New York...and I BEGGED them to change it to hard-on. BEGGED THE. To no avail. I had to sing 'boner' eight times a week. I died a little every night.

Incidentally, Boner Boy was my nickname in 6th grade 'cause I'd suddenly gotten an erection in class, which was conspicuous through my Georgetown Hoyas sweat shorts.

For anyone who's lived in the south, you will recognize this word... MAMAW! Refering to your grandmother as your friggin mamaw should be a crime.

I'm not sure if this counts, but when someone refers to an intermission as a halftime, I die a little inside.
