When I was in fourth grade I was the southern belle in the musical my music teacher wrote. I can't even remember what it was called. In terms of a real musical, I was in the Island Ensemble of Once On This Island, Jr. Oy vey.

I've been doing variety shows and the like since I was five. My first full scale musical was Oliver, I was nine, I was an orphan/one of fagin's gang and it was in Ireland's National Concert Hall, which is quite a big venue so it was great.

The rain we knew is a thing of the past -
deep-delving, dark, deliberate you would say
browsing on spire and bogland; but today
our sky-blue slates are steaming in the sun,
our yachts tinkling and dancing in the bay
like racehorses. We contemplate at last
shining windows, a future forbidden to no one.

I played Mr. Bundles, the masked radio announcer and Ike in Annie when I was 12, that was my firt real musical. A lot of us played more than one part because we didn't have enough people. I was a very weird looking show! lol

This thread is ver me at the moment. Yes, I did Annie two years ago and I was in the ensemble and played Jimmy Johnson, the masked announcer, also. And I'm rehearsing for the King and I now, in which I'll be the oldest Prince Chululongkorn you've ever seen.

I'm gonna be in the "Goodbye Girl" this September, it's a really small part, but like they say, you have to start somewhere!

Hmmm...that'd be The King and I in 2000, when I was 8 and looked like I was 4 (I was shorter than the 6 year old in the show). That same year, 2 weeks after King and I opened, I played Jenny Wiley's youngest daughter in The Legend of Jenny Wiley (look the woman up...she has quite a story). Aaaand, they were at the same outdoor professional theatre I've worked with for 7 seasons now.
