This totally doesn't count at all because it's a piece of sh*t, but my first was Inventions Rock in 5th grade. We were forced to do it, and it was embarassing.

Other than that? Nada. That makes me sad.

The Magic Mrs. Piggle Wiggle. I was 12 and played Franny and had to wear the most hideous costume. Neon lime green jump suit, neon purple tee with matching socks and black shoes. Eww.

I started out in "Bye Bye Birdie" when I was 10...I was Harvey Johnson. They only had like 3 boys, and so I got to play a boy.
Then I gradually moved my way up to Hannigan in "Annie" and was in "Seussical" as a Bird Girl.
(which by the way had the most amazing costume of pink and orange mini-skirts and boas)

When I was 10 my school did "How the Grinch Stole the Holidays". We acted out the very, very pc story of How the Grinch Stole the Holidays, sprinkled w/ holiday songs from around the world. I was Frosty the Snow Man. What Frosty the Snow Man and the Grinch were doing in the same show I will never know.

When I was a kid there was a program where I lived called Vermont Fairytale Theater. It doesn't exist anymore, but in it's heyday it was AMAZING. It was essentially a program for kids age 10-18, where you would write a show (as the name indicates, it was usually fantasy based) and perform it. It sounds so cheap and cheesy, but it really wasn't. It was actually always amazingly well done.

I did it when I was ten, and the show that year was called "Fariewell". I was a forest farie. I didn't have any lines, and my job mostly consisted of dancing and annoying the crap out of the audience before the show started (the faries were in charge of running around the auditiorium and sitting in people's seats, scaring children, etc. Then we had to hide when the lights went down and come up to the stage during the first song).

For something written, directed, and choreographed by a bunch of kids, it was pretty amazingly well done. The story was surprisingly well written. I've considered pulling it together and novelizing it or something for a while now.

l love you without knowing how... or when... or from where.
I love you straightforwardly, without complexities or pride.
I love you because I know no other way than this.

Fiddler on the Roof when I was 15. I played Motels mother, Shandel.

Here I was a sophmore playing the mother of a boy who was a senior...I always get the whole "You look older then you are" routine.

Oklahoma! when I was 14. A week ago. Chorus, five lines. Just the right size for my first one; it wasn't big, but I didn't feel gypped.

It was wonderful, no matter how boring that play is.

Mine is actually a kind of funny story. When I was around 1 year old my aunt was in a production of Big River and they were taking care of me backstage, and in a crowd scene they just decided to take me on stage, that was a suprise for the audience.
But my 1st real one when I was 7 and I was in Sor Angelica and Hansel and Gretal
