Give it two minutes before someone says SHOWGIRLS and GLITTER.

NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET scared the piss out of me. It's a true classic.

A great one you might have missed was THE SENDER with Zjelko Ivanek, Kathryn Harrold, and Shirley Knight. Eerie, well-made, check it out.

"Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they've been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing.” ~ Muhammad Ali

This is cheesy....but The Ring. I was a little bit tipsy, and very very tired, but when the girl started coming out of the TV i was screamin like a little girl.

And I screamed during The Others.

A little known Brendan Fraser and Ashley Judd movie called The Passion Of Darkly Noon absolutely terrified me, but I think I stand alone on that one.

Nightmare On Elm Street is indeed terrifying, though Freddy Kruger being embraced as a national icon is perhaps scarier. Friday 13th is a bit scary too, though both series have been ruined by too many sequels, its death knell being Freddy Vs. Jason (even if I did enjoy it.)

Most recently, and again I stand alone, the film to truly nail me to my seat with fear was the first Jeepers Creepers.

Nothing precious, plain to see, don't make a fuss over me. Not loud, not soft, but somewhere inbetween. Say sorry, just let it be the word you mean.

Am I the only person who thought the Ring was funny?

"The Exorcist" is the scariest movie ever made. Still scares the hell out of me...

EVERYONE screamed during The Others. It was when the old lady opened the closet door at the end, right?

I loved The Ring, one of the few American remakes of a foreign film that is superior to the original.

For a really freaky foreign film check out Audition, a brilliant Japanese horror movie.

'the exorcist' scared me sooo much. i thought 'the ring' was pointless. glitter just made me laugh. i'm trying to think of the name of another movie that scared me. don't laugh! it was the one that had to do with a tooth fairy i think.

The original Haunting is SOOOOOOOOOO great! Steer clear of the remake. What a piece of crap!

Saw Alien vs. Predator today. Stupid.

"This is starting to make sense." Most UNTRUE movie line I've heard all year.

A great thinking horror is What Lies Beneath with Harrison Ford. There are so many twists and turns, that you are never sure who the killer is. The Exercist is very scary as well, but thats a given.

I hate clowns! ever since my family made me watch 'IT' i have been terrified of them. All of the Steven King movies scare me. I agree that the original 'Haunting' is creepy.

I actually had a nightmare the night I saw "Signs" a few summers ago in theatres. For some reason, the aliens just scared me.
