OMG Day by Day! Loved it!
What about "Living Dolls" with Halle Berry and Allison Elliot?

I know this is really lame, but I used to like the sappy, stupid theme song for "Love Sidney." Does anyone remember that show?
I hated when they added words to the "Roseanne" theme.
I liked "Living Dolls." Don't remember the theme song, though.
I also loved "It's Your Move" with Jason Bateman from the early 80's. Don't remember that theme song either. Getting off topic, but wanted to mention this show anyway.
And I loved "Love Sidney!" We used to sing the theme song in grade school!!
And I must admit...I liked the theme song to "Baywatch."

I like the "Welcome Back, Kotter" theme song, but I usually find TV theme songs annoying, so I usually put the TV on mute during them anyway.

Ah, the Friends theme..

Saved By The Bell
Facts of Life
Family Matters
Step By Step
Growing Pains
love em.
Skippy, Skippy
Skippy, the bush kangaroo..."
My favorite tv show as a child.
I was just thinking about how much the MURDER, SHE WROTE theme used to excite me: I had a whole intro choreographed while I solved mysteries and drank champagne with old movie stars.
But love the themes to GOOD TIMES, ONE DAY AT A TIME, ALICE, ANGIE, L&S...
Best Instrumentals: ALFRED HITCHCOCK PRESENTS and THE TWILIGHT ZONE.

lil--those were excellent instrumentals!
I also loved the intro music to Dynasty. I can still see the champagne, Sammi Jo on the staircase, Alexis...
thirtysomething was another memorable instrumental.

I have to add the theme song from DALLAS.

Calvin--they added words to the Roseanne theme?! I don't remember that. Roseanne was excellent in the early/middle years. They lost me with Fake Becky and the lottery.

"They lost me with Fake Becky and the lottery."
That last season (the lottery) was the worst, considering it had been such a good show. Overall, it showed how families really are, how they argue, and how they struggle to get along. I think the downfall of the show was when they brought in Tom Arnold as a regular character.
they got Blues Traveler to write lyrics and sing:
What doesnt kill us will make us stronger
We're gonna last longer
what poetry!
There's always been controversy over one of the lyrics in the GOOD TIMES theme song. Is the lyric really "Hangin in a chow line"?
Good Times.
Any time you meet a payment.
Good Times.
Any time you need a friend.
Good Times.
Any time you're out from under.
Not getting hastled, not getting hustled.
Keepin' your head above water,
Making a wave when you can.
Temporary lay offs.
Good Times.
Easy credit rip offs.
Good Times.
Scratchin' and surviving.
Good Times.
Hangin in a chow line
Good Times.
Ain't we lucky we got 'em
Good Times.
Yep--Dave Chapelle did a sketch about the GOOD TIMES lyrics
The GLOW (Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling) theme song provides endless hours of amusement, as does anything related to the show.
I never understood what an easy credit rip off was.
LOVED Wilona's vocals, tho.

"I never understood what an easy credit rip off was."
Good Times did a show involving this. It was when a financial company offered credit to desperate poor people, but the interest ballooned very quickly and trapped the person into giving up everything they owned.
Wilona also sings The Jefferson's theme song.
hey they still have easy credit ripoffs--think rent a center--those kind of places are all over my hood.
And I agree with all the ROSEANNE assertions...what happened to that show? Such a great cast too!
blueroses: The FALCON CREST theme is super fancy too--loved that opening shot with the wine swirling in the glass..
And there used to be a syndicated show called IT'S A LIVING with Ann Jillian that had a great theme song. I think she sang it too!

Don't forget Crystal Bernard was also in it playing her usual role the Texas girl.

For instrumentals, I always like "The Waltons". It was easy to mimic the trumpet used.
