Movin' Out was the single most boring 2 hours of my life and after waiting in line THREE HOURS to get rush tickets to the show, I was mightily pissed that I had given up 5 hours of my day to a show that made me want to rip out both of my eyelids.
A close second would be The Phantom of the Opera.

I've never heard Fame, but the guy who wrote the music (Steve Margoshes) is an ingenious pianist and orchestrator. Want a sample? Try Pray Lewd on Steinman's Pandora's Box. "I've died and gone to heaven". He also worked in Chess and Aida and Dance of the Vampires
