"People have their opinions and that doesn't mean that their opinions are wrong or right. I just take it with a grain of salt because opinions are like as*holes, everyone has one".

THE LION KING. Only show I ever paid full price for that did absolutely nothing for me. It wasn't even bad enough to be entertaining (like DOCTOR DOLITTLE.) The energy was just not there, the entire cast was goofing off and you could tell. I was completely baffled walking out of the theatre and hearing other tourists talking about how amazing it was. I was barely 14 and was thinking 'What? Are you people insane?'
Wicked. I didn't HATE it, but it definitely wasn't worth my $100. Add to that the fact that a star-studded Sondheim concert was happening a few miles away while I was freezing my butt off in the Pantages... KILL.
Movin' Out. We paid full price b/c there were no discounts at the time and my friend was so insistent on seeing it as soon as possible. By the second number we were looking at each other like, worst.decision.ever. If we had paid half price and John Selya wasn't out, I wouldn't have been so annoyed. Michael Cavanaugh was fab though.
Cats- I just rented it, but I still wanted my movie back from Blockbuster.
"All the while making faces like a baby platypus who forget to take some Beano before eating a chimichanga." FindingNamo in reference to Jessica Simpson's singing.
Oh yea... community theatre of West Side Story, complete waste of money. They had three sets on the stage the entire time [long rectangular things], and they would just movie it around... yuck.
But on Broadway: Man of La Mancha, which I thought was a completely pointless musical. But BSM was amazing. I also saw him randomly on TV for a thing for La Mancha, which was interesting... but the musical was SO bad!
Battlfield: Earth - 10 minutes into the movie, I left the theatre and ask for my money back. Seems like there was a few people who felt the same way. Didn't get the money back, but they give me a comp ticket.
