I want a refund for Little Women...I thought it was boring. I would also say Good Vibrations, but I only paid $26 for that, so I didn't really feel ripped off.

Brooklyn, even if the ticket was a gift (and I use that term loosely as I imagine most gifts are meant to make people warm and fuzzy).

Well, most of the shows I hated, I saw for free.
But, the one where I want my money back would have to be Movin' Out. My brother had given me one free ticket. I believe that to refuse this from my brother would have been an insult, so I took it. But, my boyfriend wanted to go with me. So, I went to TKTS and bought a ticket for him. Although my bf liked it, he used my brother's ticket, while I (who HATED it) used the TKTS one, so, therfore, I would love my money back.

"Do you know what pledge time is, Andrew"? said the PBS Executive. "Yes", Lloyd Webber replied. "My 50th birthday special must be one program that gets done a lot." "No", mused the man from PBS heedlessy. "Not so much. Our Stephen Sondheim Carnegie Hall concert. That's a big one." Spoons, forks and knives seemed suddenly to suspend their motion in horror, all around the table.

I have actually never wanted money back to any professional shows I've seen...

High school shows are a WHOLE other story

Actually, there are some shows that I didn't like, but I'm glad I saw, such as Bounce and All Shook Up. I don't need a refund from shows like that.

I would like a refund, however, for Notre Dame de Paris and Closer to Heaven.

"Well the post ahead of me is smart cuz Grand Hotel Sucked."

Not liking a show and saying it sucks are two entirely different things. Grand Hotel is actually a pretty highly respected show among critics and historians.

Pippin, at the Paper Mill Playhouse, was a big stinko. It opened with a fashion show that was shopped by the choreographer's boyfriends boss, some no name designer. After that crap was over you got to see Gregg Barnes' designs, which were super. Some of the cast was terrific (Sara Gettlefinger, Jim Newman) but some were terrible (I heard that Charlotte Rae never really learned her song). The choreography was HORRRRRRRRRRRIBLE...and the direction wasn't much better (Ashford & Johanson).

I attended the opening night of Raquel Welch in Victor/Victoria. Even before her entrance I wanted to run down the street and try to get in to see MasterClass. I thought Ms. Welch would just make theater history but nothing amazing happened...it was just bad bad bad.

I don't know if I'm more annoyed at losing money or six hours of my life!

Godspell, a community theater production. Technically, my grandmother paid for it because I saw it with her, but the actor playing Jesus was HORRIBLE and ruined my opinion of the show. I want the two hours of my life back.

CHICAGO revival, as well. i dont know why, but i hated it. i think maybe because i had fallen in love with the movie before? i dont know, but that show did nothing for me and i couldnt wait for it to be over.

i also did NOT like lion king. but the scenery and costumes and props save it from being hated.

"At the opening night party, they had clowns on stilts, jugglers, a chocolate fountain, popcorn, hot dogs. [My son] looked at me like I had been holding back. Like, 'This is what you do?' I had to tell him, 'No, no, darling. Opening nights don't usually look like this.' It's usually a dark bar with a bottle of vodka." ?Chitty Chitty Bang Bang's Jan Maxwell plus i proudly share the title of the shortest member over the age of 10 with wickedrentq!

Shu Q,
How can you say that about Harvey. I loved him in Fiddler.
I admit his voice is unique, but his acting was priceless.
The man was such a gem as a Father.
He cracked me up and made me miss my dad.

Don't get me wrong..I want him to be GREAT! I went in with low expectations though because I didn't want to be diappointed. But I was...I just couldn't help wondering what they were thinking when they cast him. I've been led to believe that I saw him on an off-day because he didn't look like anything I've seen on video or in pictures. 'Rich Man' was so boring..he was grinning like he is in his pictures. I dunno...maybe he was tired. But I definitely felt let down.

Mamma Mia was stupid but I guess it made me feel good and I'm glad I get to have my own opinion on it.

And the Oliver tour was definitely boring. The acting just wasn't there. Except Nancy, she was great and Bill Sykes was pretty good during "My Name"
