That was my favorite episode along with all of the Halloween episodes. Part of my Halloween ritual is watching the Halloween marathons.

Is this the sink, am i shrinking?
Amazing
I would love to see this show comeback with all the original cast
OMG, Diva! Is that you? Who was Judy?
You two could pass for lookalikes?
I know the last season was a total mess but (I think this was the last season) I loved it when the ladies from Absolutely Fabulous were guests on the show.

Ashley Johnson was hysterical in that episode as DJ's date.
I've always enjoyed Roseanne. I never understood why people find it unfunny.

My favorite moment from the show was in the episode after Laurie won an Emmy. For the 'tag' gag at the end credits, they just showed the living room set with no one in it. All of a sudden, Laurie came running through clutching her Emmy, and wen't flying out the front door. After a beat, Roseanne came running through after her screaming, "Give that to ME!"

Q so that did happen!! i remember that tag being shown upon initial airing but they don't play that anymore on the syndicated episodes! i thought i was going crazy remembering it because they don't show it! i can't seem to find it on youtube
Eatlasagna, if you get the Season 5 DVD it's on there. I think it's after the power outage episode.
eatlasagna, it's at the very end of this clip. Laurie had just won the Emmy when it originally aired; Roseanne and John had also been nominated but didn't get it. (Laurie would win two more times, Roseanne won the following year, but sadly John never did despite being nominate for 7 of its 9 seasons.)

Thanks, Stagey!
Obviously, not exactly as I remembered it (hell, I can barely remember what I had for dinner last night!) but I'd still call it my favorite moment from the show. Made me giggle all over again - and smile at the obvious relationship amongst the actors.

thanks stagemanager! it's a shame john goodman never won... but i also read that in all the 9 years the show was never nominated for writing which is just insane!
btw... that power outage episode has a couple of my favorite lines... it's when jackie comes into the kitchen and starts using all the electrical stuff and realizes that there's no electricity... and john goodman has a priceless reaction... but when jackie asks what happened roseanne says "we don't have any lights but now we know the speed of stupid"... and the line when david comes over and asks when are you gonna have light again and roseanne says "oh when the earth spins around towards the sun"... awesome!

And after the lights get shut off, Roseanne says "Well, middle class was fun."
eatlasagna, here's an even bigger shocker: the show was NEVER nominated for Best Comedy Series!
That's like Bill Cosby never getting a nomination for Best Actor for THE COSBY SHOW, which really surprised me when I learned. I'd thought for sure he'd gotten nominated several times and won at least once.
Maybe not best of all time, but in the top ten certainly. And a personal favorite. They truly don't make 'em like this anymore.
and there are no more DONUTS!!!!!!
