I usually don't like medleys -- they tend to come out unsatisfying, somehow -- but last year Spring Awakening did a pretty good job I thought. Maybe Xanadu should be doing a medley, I fear "Don't Walk Away" might be a little too sedate for that huge 6,000 seat cave.

Then again, I also sorta think it's the best song of any of the best musical nominees.

I would have liked In The Heights to do a shortened 96G ending with a section of Blackout.

Why are you surprised? Bernadette just performed ROSE'S TURN on the Tonys 5 years ago. Plus the song is too long, and suffers from cuts for the broadcast.

EVERYTHING'S COMING UP ROSES is perfect. It's short enough to feature the opening dialogue of the song.
